I bought the phone about a week ago and this phone is great. It has WIFI and the signal on the WIFI is very good. You see my campus they have a free WIFI at the library only and on my old phone the Wing from T-mobile I would get it but as soon as I would step outside the library I would loose the signal but this phone I could be in the other building and still able to connect. I have T-mobile and my reception is great compare to my old phone. The battery is great as well. I am constantly on e-mail and web surfing and I find it amazing how great the battery life is. It has free loaded software Facebook and Myspace so connecting is easy as 1,2,3. I have T-mobile 3G network so the web browsing is fast as well. The only bad thing about this phone is that there is no IM application. So if I want to sign into yahoo messenger I have to go to the web. Other than that I highly recommend buying this phone.
I have been looking for the "perfect" cell phone for a long time and finally found it with this one. I wanted a smart phone but don't use my phone for internet and was told by AT&T I couldn't even purchase one without subscribing to a data plan at a significant monthly cost. This phone has so many features and functions it's awesome, and everything can be customized which is great. Another great feature is you can use it with a wireless connection to go on the internet if you are somewhere that has one, which a lot of restaurants, etc. have now. It's very user friendly and no matter what you're doing on the phone there's an option for "help" if you need it along the way, which beats having to look in the manual for everything. Walmart has the best price online for this phone and delivery was super quick and cheap.
The Nokia E63 has many features which are useful to me personally and I like having all my shortcuts on the home page. My only complaint is the poor call quality. I had a cheaper nokia b4 this one and the quality was much better. Also when my kepad lock is activiated, I have to figure out how to unlock in the dark or turn a light on. The keypad does not light up when the keypad is locked. so I just keep it unlocked which runs the chance of it dialing while in my purse etc.
totally pleased with this phone, good reception, easy to use, plenty of features, for the price you can't beat it. Don't need an iPhone, this does what I need it to do for WAY less $$, why the blue one was $30 more I don't know
I must say that as a motorola lover, Was a little hesitant to buy this Nokia E63 but i received it i was pleasantly surprised. This phone has everything, WiFi, GPS (for gps to work you need to buy an accessoy) and since is independant, you do not need to have date or GPS plan with your service provider. Also you can use it as a MP3 player, check you e-mail (if you have more than one e-mail account, you can check them too). You can also place a internet call (with GIZMO software which is free from nokia). you can browse the internet, listen to internet radio(included)and many many more. For me the first and most important thing is reception and battery life which is unblievable. Excellent reception and fantastic battery life. I will never buy motorola again. I bought mine from amazon for $150 including $50 rebate. I am very happy with my purchase.
This phone is a good cost effective option to a Blackberry. If you have a SIM card (i use ATT) you can slip it in and use immediately.
The Nokia E63 is a good phone and the the key pad isnt cheap like some of the reviews that I've read. It is a phone that take some time to figure out, I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to read the book, I like to just play with the phone and figure it out by playing with the keys. I do however prefer the Blackberry over the Nokia except I dont the the ball the blackberry has to move thru the icons. The ball is the first thing to quit working and I had a hard time with it working, so I thought I would try the NoKia. The Nokia has two Profiles that I haven't figured out that you have can switch between (which I don't need) after time I'm sure I will like this phone, considering I've only had it a couple of weeks and really haven't had a lot of time to sit down and figure the features out.
Lots of useful applications with cheap option available. I wanted to buy I-phone before this. But I don't like touch pad. I recommend this product. Must buy product.
I ordered this phone after reading a lot of great reviews about it on another website. At first it seemed like a great phone, but after a couple of days it began to freeze up to the point of having to take the battery out and putting it back in after a few seconds. May be I just received a bad phone because a lot of people seem to love this model.
Good smart phone. Not quite as good as hoped for. WAN capability is useful. Not always able to load videos and applications as easily as other phones. Voice quality is good and browser and video quality is good when working. Overall not as impressed with it as I had hoped.
