The cakes bake evenly and are easily removed. The cars shapes are fun for theme parties. The sturdy pan will last for generations. I also love the cash payment option on walmart.com.

When I saw this on the computer, I hoped it would be as good as it looked. It is better! It's heavy built, detailed cars, and several different cars. I gave it as a gift and it was the life of the party, everyone wanted to know where I got it so they could get one. It sells itself, buy one, you'll be glad you did.
This turned out to be very disappointing. The cars & trucks are very very small. Very hard to decorate. I do cake decorating and thought these would be cute for my grandson. May try making muffins in them & not trying to decorate. Cute idea but should be a tad larger.
My biggest disappointment with this cake mold is the lack of detail in the finished product. It's well-made, durable, and looks amazing - until you see the final baked result. You need to do a lot of decorating to make it look as awesome as the company photo. I read reviews of the train set product, similar to this cars cake mold, also made by Nordic, because I didn't find many review on this one. Based on those reviews, I chose to make a pound cake recipe. I used the Pam spray with flour, and the cakes came out nicely. The product itself is great, but the cakes require a lot of creativity and decorating. Definitely not recommended for an occasional baker.
