Nice and heavy, cooks evenly, and releases perfectly (if you spray it well). Why worry about cutting a birthday cake? This way each kid gets their own little brithday cake. I made Zucchini Bread in the pan it came out perfectly.
I bake a lot of cakes. This pan is awesome. It is easy to use and the cakes come out perfect.

I had so much fun baking this cake. The train pan cooked evenly even though I may have slightly overfilled. The detail of the pan was clearly defined and proved to be a great guideline for decorating. The hardest part was deciding which candies to use! It can easily go on top of a sheet cake or by itself. *I put excess cake in a ziploc with green food coloring and crumbled around for grass in place of sheet cake. Perfect for train lovers, theme birthdays, and holidays!
