Absolutely am obsessed with my chair... love love...great quality and looks so unique
I have always wanted a swinging chair so I was super excited to receive the Sally, a patio hanging swing from the Novogratz Poolside Gossip Collection in a black wicker finish with a pink striped cushion. I wanted it for our patio but since we are still remodeling I asked my boyfriend to hang it on the front porch of our tiny cabin. It is so comfy! It makes for the perfect little reading nook IF I can get the cat out of it. She loves it too! See photo. I was also surprised at how roomy this swing is. The swing seat measures 36.2" W x 32.3" D x 15.2" H and weighs 18.5 lbs. It has a weight capacity of 250 lbs. Sally is heavy duty and weather resistant; built from durable, weather-resistant steel and wrapped in a black woven wicker. The contrasting black seat cushion and white back cushion with a light pink striped lumbar pillow is attractive and blends into almost any decor. The swing includes two carabineer that may be hung from one or two points and the rope adjusts. My boyfriend made a few adjustments to make it hang on our small porch. I attached a photo of the hardware he used along with the carabineer which came with the swing. I love my new swinging chair and am happy to recommend!
When the box arrived I was astonished at how big it was. It arrived in perfect shape and there was nothing to assemble. It was ready to hang. My husband had to adjust the ropes which was a little tricky because our yard is sloped so one side had to be a bit lower than the other. The fabric is weather resistant but not waterproof. I took the cushions off after a storm and they were saturated but they drained and dried nicely. I have it hanging in my "happy place" next to my hanging plants and hummingbird feeder. It is a really nice, sturdy swing which I enjoy very much and it is grandkid approved!
I absolutely love this swing! The sitting area is large enough to hold me and my grandchild, and is very sturdy. I love that it can be installed onto one hook on the ceiling or the typical two hook shape. It is very easy to get in and out of since I have it at chair height. This swing provides hours of enjoyment, and I'm sure it will for years to come. Absolutely NOT FLIMSY! I put this on my front porch. The ropes are long enough to reach my very tall ceiling. We love sitting outside interacting with walkers and small children playing in our very small circle neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this beautiful and functional swing. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
