Seems to be working just fine... won't know how well until next blood test.
most female teenagers and 20 somethings,do not get enough calcium when their bodies are creating the necessary bone density that will last their lifetimes after 29. Calcium in very high quantities is necessary for women over 40. Calcium Citrate is the most absorable calcium product on the market with D-3
Calcium citrate is a soluble form of calcium, which is needed for bone health. (Calcium carbonate is NOT soluble. Don't take that.) Calcium citrate helps keep your bones strong, and healthy, into old age.
I like that this is a Calcium Citrate product, which is more easily absorbed by the body, however, it needs magnesium in order to work properly in the cells. Having the zinc and other trace minerals is a bonus, we have all been reading about zinc and it's usefulness in building up the immune system. So, all the way around this is a quality vitamin. I think NOW vitamins have quality built in.
A vegetarian product - no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, milk, egg, preservatives or (also very important to me) shellfish or soy. I have many allergies and this is one supplement I can take for my bone health which does not have ingredients that could cause me to have an allergic reaction.
This is a form of bone health multivitamin. Not straight calcium citrate.
My Gram had brittle finger nails, and these pills were the solution.
Calcium pill large hard to swallow but it does not contain harmful ingredient propylene glycol which fda says is ok in moderation but I take this supplement twice a day everyday ,., so that's not in “moderation”, it's hard to find the formulation I need…600/400 calcium and vitamin D
Stuck with product because it is too costly to return. I did the test to see if the tablet would dissolve within 5 minutes and it did not. Did not dissolve even overnight. Good luck in digesting it and absorbing anything. I do not recommend this product.
