Super fast LTE, 4G works perfect wherever LTE is not available, I installed a 32 GB SD card, and added to the phone's 16 internal GB now I got plenty of storage for anything I may need. the phone is nice and slim, with a beautiful, bright 4.7" screen. Great picture, I installed Netflix and Amazon Prime Instant Video apps and watch any movie anywhere I want trouble free. 2 GB of RAM allows speedy searching. Awesome cameras' "pixelage." Since my phone is unlocked, I can use it with any carrier I want. And the price perfectly fits almost any conscious person's budget.
It works awesome. Best phone for its price. Haven't had any problems with it. Wicked fast. Nice and comfortable in the hands. Great display. Only thing is there isn't a wide variety of cases available for this phone.
Overall, it's equivalent to iPhone 6 to me. Mine was from Walmart.com and came with the white colored cover on backside. Front is black. Even tho the back is a plastic cover, it doesn't feel like plastic and definitely doesn't feel cheap. Under the back cover, there is a lot for memory card and another slot for SIM card. Operation is smooth. No lag time when changing between app. Some may argue that iPhone 6 has slightly faster CPU, but at this level the difference is not noticeable to me. Sound quality is pretty good. Camera is awesome. Even the front camera looks really, really good. It makes me look skinnier with smoother skin. Hahaha! Was it some smart-engineering??? Size and weight is almost exactly like iPhone 6. Camera is 13MP rear (vs 8MP of iPhone 6) and 5MP front (vs 1.2MP) 2GB RAM (1GB iPhone 6) 12 days standby time (vs 10 days iPhone 6)
This is a very nice phone and I had done my research before my purchase, I thought. I needed to use AT&T and this phone works with the exception I cannot get LTE even when in (supposedly) LTE areas. So my assumption is either AT&T is misleading of their LTE areas or ZTE is misleading in stated the phone is a LTE phone. When data is on the phone shows 4G (even in LTE areas) and the connection is always HSPA+. Disappointed about this. Another caveat (I knew before purchase) is that ZTE has branded this phone which isn't bad with the exception that it does not have an app drawer. Leans more to the iPhone style. But this can be over come by using a different launcher which I do. However, you will find that the original launcher will at times put duplicate icons on the home page and the only way to remove the duplicates is to uninstall/reinstall the app. Trying to drag to trash simply brings up the uninstall window. If you root it can be done but with iRoot version 1.7.9.2 and patience. Then replace SU with an English version if you speak English. Custom recovery is Chinese which I have not done, waiting for English if it happens. So without a custom recovery roms are out if you like to play with them. My only reason for wanting a custom recovery is to back up the phone for when the inevitable happens. Batter cannot be pulled/replaced either (knew this). Battery life is good though. One last thing is how ZTE decided to partition the phone. While it does have 16 gig of storage it is misleading as about only 4 gig of this is dedicated to the OS and apps you install. So you end up with almost 2 gig of actual app storage space which means you need to move the apps that allow it to the internal which is about 11 gig. Do not use your SD card for this as you will just have 11 gig doing nothing. Use your SD card (if you use one) just for storing all the useful/useless junk you have. All in all I am quite happy with the phone. Only thing I "really" need is a custom recovery, in English. Oh, and the battery that came with mine is 2400 mAh, not the 2000 mAh advertized, that's nice. Very nice phone and the price is reasonable
The phone had many good features and I liked it very much. It worked well for talking and texting but not on data. It never did provide data service from the provider and it would not hook up to available wi-fi .If I went into the settings each time and turned it on it would work. Talked with straight talk for more than an hour and they could not help me get it to work as iot should. Ended up going to Wal Mart and buying a new Samsung And returing the zte for a refund. The Samsung worked beautifully out of the box..
