I have a granddaughter that can't eat regular food . I've been using the bullet for 15 years and I love it .i would recommend every mother with a baby and these that have someone that can't eat solid food to use it they would be impressed Love My Bullet.
I love my new baby blender i recieved it brand new sealed and with all the parts inside. It works great and it hasn't given me any problems at all. After blending my baby's food it cleans really well when washing and rinsing. I do recommend boiling all fruits
I am not sure if lot of these reviews are paid. The manual of this blender and also it's website mentions NOT to remove the gasket to clean. I followed the instructions and only cleaned the blender blades without removing the gasket. BIG MISTAKE. Like any mom's nightmare, I found some black stuff near the gasket and decided to remove it just to be horrified. There was a entire layer of black mold. I am only putting this review out here to warn other parents. If you do decide to buy this product please remove the gasket and clean it. I would not recommend this product and totally grossed out/ horrified.
I purchased this and returned it after the first use. It must be used in 60 second intervals or else the motor is damaged. Also, it over-heated before I could make one batch of food. Instead of making life easier, using this was a disaster. I purchased a Ninja express chopper for a third of the cost and it works wonderfully.
This product may harm your child! Please be aware, the washer/bushing on the blade does not completely seal the bearing. This means that whatever grease is used in the bearing under the blade LEAKS INTO THE FOOD. This is a health and safety hazard! I hope whatever grease was used is food safe as some of the tainted food was eaten before we caught this. To test yours, hold the blade cap as shown and push the bearing up as it would be during use. If there is a gap as shown no matter how small, your food will be contaminated. You can even see in the photo a line of the bearing grease on the blue part of the cap under the metal housing. Likewise to test versus a control as pictured in the top right and versus other blenders/food processors as pictured on the bottom as we did, fill the pitcher with water and blend for 30-40 seconds. Place the water in a white dish. If the water is grey as pictured in the top left, you need to throw the blender in the trash or request a refund.
