This product is good quality and I will continue to use it. It does turn my bread a brownish purple color but regardless of the color, the bread tastes great. I'm used to the color now and will continue to use this fine product.
I use this for making gluten free high fiber bread rolls. It works well in my recipe and, in combination with almond flour makes a light, tasty roll that holds together until the hamburger or sandwich ingredient is gone. I love it.
I've used this psyllium powder for several years; it's a good way to add fiber without extra sugar and artificial flavorings. It is essentially tasteless, mixes well with the aid of a small whisk, and containers have always arrived in good condition.
i really liked it! makes my keto breads delicious! also works for constipation! :) im in a keto diet so works great for all the receipes and plus my digestion!
Product is Psyllium Husk, it ain't going to taste great. But we use it to make keto friendly 5 minute pizza crusts. Product arrived the same day we ordered it thanks to Prime
This psyllium is just right for me. I have used regular ones with flavor etc and sugar or other products. This one helps me follow the new eating plan I'm doing, the sugar busters plan. I recommend this product.
I like that it's unflavored, so it can be added to any drink to thicken it and add some fiber content. But it's not ground as finely as the powder in metamucil. It's mostly smooth, but the texture more resembles cream of wheat than a smooth drink, and here and there are little bits almost as hard as sand, that tend to stick to my throat. I'm still not sure whether or not I would buy this again.
This product is working for me. It is such a fine powder I can not get it to mix without using a blender. Without a blender I find I'm drinking clumps. Other products have mixed much easier. Good value.
I have tried many, many psyllium products and brands and this one is not good quality in my opinion. It doesn't get the liquid thick that much when you mix it, which is what you're looking for with a high quality psyllium product. It also has a taste that doesn't match what I've usually consumed with nearly all other psyllium products, regardless of brand. This one tastes bland, like it's sawdust or some sort of filler or something. Or stale maybe. There are plenty of other brands that have higher quality.
Opened my last container of product today, mixed it with OJ as usual------could not drink and tossed it. Had a horrible taste, somewhat like chlorine. Found that the moisture pack was leaking---concerned since packet says do not eat!. Only had the one dose before I dumped it. Be aware!
