I had something like this year's ago that was given to me by a friend. I love this product and the glow it gives is amazing with easy application.
I bought the MoonGlow at the NYX Store because I've been debating buying the Cover Fx Custom Enhancer Drops for years and oh man this shade selection is so much more up my alley and SO much cheaper. I layered it with my ABH Moonchild in the shade Star and I was glowing to the GODS, My only issue is you have to pat this in quick because it dries and sets pretty fast.
I bought 2 of these, right after the release date because, I had a feeling, they'd sell out. And, they did. Not 1 color, left in stock! First, moonGlow is a pretty pearly white illuminator. I will be wearing it more this Spring but, have used it a few times already. The formula is light and will not make your face look oily. It blends in nicely and Ive even put it on over my skin tint and it didnt interfer with how my foundation looked. Its pretty under the brow. Its more of a subtle sheen and not in your face illuminator. MoonBeam is darker in real life than the image you see here. But, its very pretty even darker so Im good with that. I use it on my cheekbones but first apply it under my skin tint, then, I swipe more, over my skin tint foundation. Just on my checkbones. It leaves a looks as though you have been in the sun, and have a tan. The formula is light and not glittery but has a sheen. The doe foot aplicator is larger than a lipgloss doe foot applicator allowing you to really put a nice swipe of color in one stoke. Im happy with my purchase and when they are back in stock, Ill buy more.
I love this product. I only had baked powder highlighters and a highlighting stick before buying this and it's honestly so helpful to have a liquid product. I originally brought the color moonbeam when NYX first launched the away we glow highlighters. It quickly became my favorite. It's the perfect pink/gold tone for me. It is my all time favorite, I am constantly pitching this highlighter to my friends lol. I recently brought state of flux and it's a beautiful pink/silver. I'm in love. The consistency is creamy, which makes it easy to work with. I use my damp beauty blender or a brush to apply.
This stuff is alright - I think if you buy the right shade for your skintone, you'll love it. I might've just needed a different color. I'd say it's worth a try for the price! I DID really enjoy the applicator. Easy to put on and seems to have a good amount of product in it.
First of all, I've got red small pimples on my cheekbones using these highlighter couple of weeks. Secondly, when you apply it, your foundation is totally destroyed and everything looks like a mess. After this,I don't want to buy highlighters from nyx!
