This is a great Cooler, we use it indoors as well as outdoors. I like that it has a bottle opener attached, with the catcher! The storage underneath is also great. Was easy to put together. And doing the site to store is always an added plus. Walmart had the best price on this item.
Received this cooler 3 days ago. Came in in excellent condition, assembled easy and it keeps ice very well in 90 dg heat. I like the fact it has a bottom shelf. I enclosed the underneath with a cabinet with two doors. painted it blue and put 3 coats of spar urethane on it to protect it from the elements of the weather, Blue blends well with the Gray cooler. It is light, rolls around real easy and is very functional. Cant speak to the longevity of it as yet, but if it doesn't rust, I will be very pleased with the purchase. By building the underneath cabinet for Bar Supplies & etc, it added some stability to it also. Really looks nice on my Deck
First of I'd like to express my opinion about how accurate and fast shipping and delivery were. I ordered it two days before labor day hoping I'll receive it on Saturday which was the projected time for that delivery. It did! Bottles were kept cool for next two days and it was easy to roll it to different locations. Highly recommended.
I ordered this cooler for my daughters graduation party. I received it in time and it was very easy to put it together. I received a lot of compliments and everyone wanted to know where i purchased it. Love it. fun for outdoor parties/BBQ's... I would recommend this product and what I paid for it was way less than any other store I looked around.
Like a dummy, on assembly, the last thing I did was place the knobs on the lid LAST, not first. One of the screws was glued into the knob "nut", located inside the the lid. It rotated freely. Needed to cut a hole on the inside of the lid, then drilled a hole through the screw to remove it. Once I did, I attempted to find a nut for the knob at several hardware stores. Nothing fit the knob bolt, so I improvised. I used a slightly larger nut, placed over space washers on the inside, then placed a small nylon nut to hold the larger nut. I then used liquid nails to hold everything. I then placed some of the packing material to fill the hole as insulation, then used a piece of white reflective tape to cover the hole I make on the inside of the lid. Had I, as the directions stated, attempted to place the knobs on the lid FIRST, I would have found the problem early, had an easy repack, and an easy return for another unit. Live and learn.
Thought this was a stainless cooler but it was painted gray. Returning to store tomorrow......don't order if you want stainless or you will be disappointed.
I bought one of these at sears and then another from walmart. The walmart cooler gave me 3 stripped holes where I needed to glue the screws or leave them very crooked. It says steel cooler and it was painted gray. Clearly not what I thought but its together on my deck. Perfect example that sometimes you dont get what you pay for
I was very impressed with the appearance and construction of the 80-Qt Steel Patio Cooler Cart. However the assembly leaves much to be desired. The screws, nuts and washers are very small and difficult to maneuver. One of the legs had misaligned threads and could only be assembled when corrected. This added to the price of my purchase.
The description implied that it was stainless steel. We received one that is powder coated with paint which we did not want.
This product leaks water, within 2 days its rusted. Also the ice turns into water within couple hours.
