My son broke his foot and needed a STURDY knee scooter. This scooter done the job. He was very happy with our purchase. He is 16, and said this scooter was "sweet"
Got the knee scooter within a couple days after ordering it. It came well packaged. Easy assembly and a good sturdy scooter. Price well worth it. Had a problem with one of the wheels and they took care of it immediately. A very good company and very happy with the product
This has made it so much earlier for me to get around. It light and easy to use.
Nicely packaged, very easy to set up. He found this to be more comfortable, but less stable than his solid-wheeled knee walker. It was also a bit too wide for our narrow bathroom doorway, ok getting into the bedroom. Held his weight (320 lbs) with no problem. Best for outside, as our house was a little small for the turning radius.
It was extremly easy to "set up". The only things that needed to be attached/built was the clip that (snaps into place) holds the break lines back and out of the way, and the basket (screwed into place). The hanle bars and seat slid right into their spots with ease, and the scooter unfolded/folded with the ease. The mobility was as easy as expected, and much better than most of the bad reviews for this product. The turning radius was actually good and it traveled/rolled just fine on all terrains. I believe that the people leaving the bad reviews about it's mobility were expecting a bit too much and don't quite understand the concept of "all terrain". They also have never riddin a mountain bike, or any kind of bike. Even a healthy person/kid has trouble going through the grass and much harder time going through sand on any bike. So, why would they expect a scooter to go through these with any more ease, especially with only one leg available. They were probably putting all their weight on it as they were trying to go forward, instead of using of more like a crutch, and then gliding on it once they were on a harder surface. Maybe they should try ordering one of these scooters with the hard thin wheels and see how much harder it would be. The reason for only Three Stars is because one of the front tires were flat when it came in. Unfortunately, I had to put air in it 3 times in 12 hours. I took the tire and tube off to see if the tube had a small hole. I used my kitchen sink and submerged it in water, but saw no bubbles. Needless to say, I couldn't find the leak and Walmart wasn't able to just send me a new tire or tube, so I had to send the whole thing back. Luckily I hadn't broken down the box yet and was able to reuse it. Walmart wouldn't take it back without it being boxed up. I would have probably left four stars if they could have at least sent me a replacement tube or unit right away....
