[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The I2K Ice maker box is amazing and it connects so easily. It has the Quarter turn brass ball valve that allows for easy on-off for the water supply, it also comes with a faceplate. This is a game-changer for us. The water supply can come in from the top of the box or at the bottom of the box! The box allows for the right or left side of the stud installation! We love to have Ice Tea on a hot summer day and with this, we now have plenty of ice! No more going and buying ice at the store I absolutely love this. I would recommend getting this if you need to hook up your icemaker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After buying a home and deciding to upgrade the appliances in the kitchen, my husband and I discovered the old water valve coming out of the wall for the ice maker was rusted, covered in corrosion and leaking. So instead of calling in a plumber we decided to tackle this project ourselves. This kit comes with everything we needed to do the job and showed us what tools we needed as well. There's detailed instructions on the back of the box that also were a big help. Surprisingly it took us under an hour to complete this project from start to finish. The The valve and pipe are both made of a strong copper and the box is made of thick strong plastic.Now there's no leak and the valve turns easily and has no corrosion. I am very happy with this project and the money we saved from doing it ourselves and not having to call a plumber.

We are not the most handy people, but we were able to install this on our own. The nails are preloaded, so that honestly helps out a lot. The kit included everything I needed to install the product and the included instructions were super clear. I also really liked how the installation didn't require any support brackets. This allowed me to quickly place the unit. Additionally, I really appreciated how small and narrow the ice maker outlet box is. I had no trouble fitting it into my space. Finally, another feature that I really like about this product is how heavy-duty it is. The outlet box is constructed of very heavy-duty plastic. I haven't had any problems with the unit cracking or breaking. Overall, I've been very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a simple and reliable ice maker outlet box!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice finish to your plumbing rough-in for ice maker. I haven't put the fridge in yet but I think an angle other than straight out would be better for the water supply that comes from the top of a fridge. After sheetrock, found that the trim plate is not deep enough to reach the shutoff box so couldn't use the trim... Also had a slight drip develop before attaching PE tubing - Although probably my fault, must have melted gasket. Otherwise looks better than a saddle valve in the basement and a hose through the floor. If you have access to stud bay and rough plumbing this is the way to go. Make sure you double and triple check for finish depth when sweating the copper in.

The kit comes with all the necessary hardware and simple instructions. The ice maker box has the option to be mounted to a stud on either the right or left side. This unique is a 12 K Ice maker outlet box . you can either go right or left depending on how you need it hooked upIt is a solid Copper pipe systems Very easy to install hook up is very easy. If you love ice in your drinks and have a ice maker in your refrigerator then this is your hook up on great ice. We love it.

It is much better than having a hose poke through the wall. It was very easy to install. The Oatey I2K Icemaker Box comes with Preloaded nails. The valves and be installed with either Right or left hand. It's very compact and looks great. The trim fit fine over the drywall.
