Perfect flavor. Doesn't overpower crabmeat.
Flavor was good. I had more crab than the package called for and didn't wNt to waste it so used it all. My crab cakes didn't stay together very well. Next time I will add a little seasoned bread crumbs and a tad bit more mayonnaise. I bought the lump crab at Costco But the tasted really good.

Perfect seasonings for perfect crab cakes.
Always use Hellman's Real Mayo. Don't use Dukes. Dukes is good but has a creamy texture and makes the crab cake mushy. The crab meat is the star of the show so don't cheap out, use lump or jumbo lump (back fin). Gently fold in the crab meat with the mayo. I usually use clean hands trying not to break up the meat to much. Form the meat into 4 tennis ball size cakes. They will be round, don't flatten. BROIL about 4-5 minutes, they should brown up. Then turn them for about another 4-5 minutes This mix makes a very good Maryland Crab Cake and it's easy!
Being originally from maryland I know what makes a good crab cake. This mix with backfin or lump crabmeat will make a very good crabcake. Just follow the directions on the package.
I was a little skeptical at first about this, thought it wouldn't taste like the crab cakes that my Mom used to make.We don't put any green peppers or onions in ours because it ruins the flavor of the crab. But now I don't make them without this fabulous little packet. Only problem is trying to find it in Florida.
You should not have to check the date on every single thing that is newly purchased. They gave me expired crab cake seasoning from Jan 2023 %26 this isn't the first time. More like the 10th. Are the shelves not being checked?! You're gonna get somebody sick %26 you'll be sued.
Even though you say that it was delivered, I never received it. I would like a refund
