Everyone will love this brush
I bought the 1” Olivia Garden brush. There are larger (and smaller) sizes available but since my fine, thin hair is cut in a pixie, the 1” worked best for me. Those with longer hair would be better off using a larger size. The handle is shaped with little grooves and has a subtly soft texture that makes it comfortable to hold and doesn't slip from my hand when I'm styling my hair. At first I thought the bristles, being stiff, might be too scratchy for me but actually they don't cause any discomfort. Inside the handle is a pick for parting your hair but I don't use this. The only problem I've had is once my hair got tangled up in the bristles, but that is my own user error. Just don't wrap your hair all the way around the brush and you should have no problem. The brush works great for styling my hair with a blow-dryer, my hair dries quickly and looks so much better with a little lift from the styling brush. It seems well-made, not like cheap plastic brushes, so I expect it will last a long time. Worth the cost!
Love this brush. I bought this one to replace the one I had, it was at least 3 yrs old but still in pretty good shape. It grabs the hair like it should and doesn't get tangled at the neck of the brush like so many others do. I have shoulder length hair and it gives great volume.
I bought this same brush (new) from J.C. Penny's a while ago and I wanted another one to leave at my partners place- so I found it here. However, the brush I received from this seller was old and the handle discolored. I don't know is it is used or not.
I haven't used it enough yet. When I did, I wasn't getting the results I was hoping for. Need to work with it and talk to my hairdresser for advice.
