It's very easy to use and made with quality. I am going to buy one as a birthday gift for my brother...
Just tried it out..really easy. Down loads really easy. I have windows vista. Directions are easy. It doesn't have a power off button. But the hold button on the side is the power off/on button. I had a RCA last semester..it didn't make it through the semester before it started having problems. The price was fantastic (even with the next day delivery charge). I checked other stores on line, at least $100.00. So great value.
Pros: This voice recorder is easy to use and provides good quality sound recordings. The controls are larger than other brands and easy for a male with large fingers. Cons: The batteries that came with the unit were DOA. The unit does not come with a strap or protective cover. Since 99% of the world is stereo, it should at least come with stereo-to-mono adapter so existing headsets and microphones can be used.
I use it to make verbal memos as reminders. Works great for this. Volume is easy to hear.
I ordered this product for the Great Price, and the Name. This item has more woofers and tweeters than the high priced voice recorder that my husband was going to buy for me. He could not believe all the options, how many minutes and all the files you have w/this voice recorder. Computer hookup also. I am very pleased and would recommend this Olympus 512MB PC Digital Voice Recorder with USB 2.0 Storage to anyone searching for one without blowing their budget
This was a good purchase for me. I needed it for a big test and I passed with extraordinary colors. I would definitely recommend this product to any and everyone who needs a study buddy.
I searched for a good recorder to keep tabs on our meetings. This was a very good product for recording even the fartherest voice to the lowest speakers. The separate pages and folders keep everything in order.
I wasn't sure this model would pick up everything in a meeting room, but was pleasantly surprised. It has many, many features of value to me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I call it my "Mighty Mouse." Still can't believe the size.
I like the product, but not happy there is no volume control. It does do a great job of recording, as I use it when I go ghost hunting for EVP's. But it would be nicer if I could control the volume when playing back. Playing it back, you have a hard time hearing it, unless you put it close to your ear, and with head phones, it's sometimes too loud. Not bad for the price but volume control would be better.
I went to Wal-Mart in Auburn and they saw that the tabs on the back cover weren't formed correctly. That ia why it wouldn't stay on ! So They didn't have the oympis at the store so I exchanged it for another model. I really liked the Olympis but !!!!!! I traded it in for an RCA!! So Thank's any ways
