I am very please with this recorder --Used in Class room setting - only one problem I can not figure has to rewind without going to the first of the tape.
I have used this to record Attorney visits and transfer to CD for future reference. I have used a computer using recording software (Audacity-free) and used a double ended mini cable to record via earphone jack on this recorder and microphone jack on computer. I've copied recordings to CD and sent to a family member that doesn't live close by. I am also using this to record my to do lists and doing parts inventory control for my vintage radio repair parts and collection. This Recorder has a bigger speaker for better sound, and options for up to 400 sub folders and over 1000 hours of recording time. A very worthwhile purchase for me.
Smart and efficient recorder. No wasteful frills simple to operate. I like it a lot
great product works well
Item was ready to pick up. The associtate found that it was cheaper in the store than it was listed on line at the time so, the associtate return some money to me. Items works well. I need to figure out how to back it up for a few seconds rather than starting from the beginning all the time. But it works well and picks up just about everything.
This is a good product if you need a easy, inexpensive way to record n lectures, notes or meetings. I use it to record my voice lessons to work on during the week and technical meetings where I need to supplement my notes. It is easy to use. I was able to get started even without reading the manual. I quickly figured out that I needed to insert indices for long recordings because it doesn't fast forward.
I like this recorder, it's simple and straightforward to use and it makes good recordings. Problem is that you cannot download them. In this day and age, that's kind of important. If you just want to record a note to self or dictation to be transcribed later, this is a great little recorder. If you need to be able to download and save a file, keep looking.
Great quality but useless to save your recordings. So, What do you need it for? Absolutely inconvenient for saving lectures, important audio recording, etc. I won't suggest it to any one.
Biggest issue for me is the lack of anyway to upload recorded files. Can only listen via the onboard speaker. No USB connection for long term saving of what you record. No way to share sound files. No way to edit sound files.
If you think you might need the instruction manual you might not want this recorder. The first clue: on the front cover it has EN - EINSTRUCTIONS. As you try to read the instructions three things are obvious 1) the instruction were not originally written in English, 2) a very poor computer driven translator was use to create the English version of the instructions and 3) NO ONE who can read English proofed the English version.
