I have been looking for a recumbent bike for a while and when I seen this on the site I was worried about buying something that hadn't been reviewed anywhere on the internet. Don't let so few reviews stop you from buying this great bike. Not only is it stylish but you will use it because it is a comfortable ride. I am very unhandy and i put it together myself, so that says alot. I agree with the first reviewer the manual could be better. I have only had the bike for a couple of days and have been easing into the use of it so i hope it will hold up well but i think it is a sturdy good piece of exercise equipment and i do like it so far.
Setting up the bike was really easy. Except that two different plastic parts were slightly cracked; I expected that since the box arrived slightly crushed from one side. Once set up, the bike rides really smooth and quiet and the settings are not too complicated. The seat is also pretty comfortable. This is overall a nice chose in bike.
I love my bike, the assembly was a bit tricky at times but I got it together. The manual has something to be desired. It fits in the living room no problem goes with decor so cool looking.
Wait for this to go on sale. It will generally get down to around $360 which is a very good deal. The machine overall is well built. The seat adjuster isn't my favorite, but it will do for daily home use. The only major negative thing about it is the console. It's cheaply made and not easy to navagate. Overall, a very good buy.
Well, i was happy with it for about 4 weeks, then it developed a knocking noise. I called Omega, but they could not help me. they were sorry that they could not send somebody out to fix it because they said that would break the warranty. Huh? I thought fixing it within the warranty period was part of supporting it. Anyway, i just decided to send it back to Wal-Mart to get a replacement. Of course, i had to "build" a box for it, since i threw all the packaging away. (it's been over a month!) Took me at least 3 hrs making sure the box was solid and stable. Anyway, i am now waiting for the replacement. I guess i'll see how the second one will do. The product worked well...for about 4 weeks that is....i mean, it was still working perfectly, it's just annoying to have that knocking noise all the time. Plus, for over $400.00, i expect a nice quiet exercise time. So, don't throw all that packaging material just yet.
This product surely looked very nice in the picture but i had to order it 2 times & each time its copper frame was cracked. I had to return it!
