At a complete loss as to what brand, type of blood pressure monitor to get. And did not want to spend a fortune. Viewed available monitors on line. This seemed to be the best for my needs. Reviews were good. Now that I have it and been using, I think its great. Easy to use, easy to store and accurate. Do not be afraid to purchase and use.
So far I have had no problems. I will check it at my doctor's visit to make sure we come up with the same readings. I trust the Omron monitor since I have used a similar monitor in the past. It is always easy to understand and simple to use.

I check my blood pressure a couple of times a day and it keeps me focused and if my BP starts to go up I can take steps to get it under control. I can either do deep breathing exercices or if need be to stop and go ninto a meditative state to calm myself down. I keep a log book on all my readings, That way I can look back and see where critical times occur. I truely recomend the Omron Blood Pressure Monitor.
This monitor comes with the cuff which is a pretty big size, so it fit me well. It requires 4 AAA batteries which are not included. It stores memory for a week, or 7 times of use. I like this monitor, it is easy to use, just put the cuff on and push a button. great buy, worth the money. Nice quality.
This monitor is compact, with only memory, blood pressure and heart rate. Very simple and very easy to use. Also, very quiet. I only have two minor complaints. The cuff is quite large for a small woman and the error message does appear often. I checked the accuracy with my old BP monitor and it seems to be accurate. It does not come with batteries and takes four AAA size. Haven't had it long enough to know how good it will hold up.
Just starting to use the unit…at first the blood pressure numbers were way too high but now it appears to have settled down…had it checked against the professional one at the fitness center and they said it was pretty close….the sleeve is a little large which would be good for muscular arms…all-in-all it appears to be a good buy which does the job right.
I do not like that this is an auto start. I miss my old 1 that broke & was not avail to purchase again, you'd turn it on & get settled, then start it, which I liked much better. Plus, the cuff is HUGE...so I'm worried my results aren't as accurate as they should be. Undecided if I'm going to keep it yet.
Th blood pressure readings were of by 15 to 20 counts. It showed a much higher blood pressure than it really was. I had it checked by my doctor.
Was sceptical the first time I used this device. After taking my blind cousins pressure a couple of times, I knew this device was not accurate. His home health care nurse came in on the second day and after she took his pressure, we used the machine. Major difference in readings. If my cousin depended on what readings he got from this device, he would be on major blood pressure meds. Don't waste your money. Manual blood pressure is the most accurate!!
