I'll start off my saying I haven't bought a frozen pizza in years. We were just slowly turned off of any brand we tried because they were always lacking in taste and texture. Frozen pizzas aren't exactly inexpensive to buy, either! I found it was easier to just get a pre-made crust and add our own toppings or buy a large loaf of French bread and turn that into a French bread pizza. I have lived a ketogenic lifestyle for the past 3 years, so now I only make low carb pizzas at home. Enter the One Bite Pepperoni Pizza. I brought one home for my non-keto husband and was anxious to try it. Right out of the box, it looked fine. Wasn't impressed with the sloppy uneven application of the sauce/toppings on the crust (see photo) but overall it looked good. I cooked it as directed with the only exception of leaving my 28 lb. pizza steel in the oven. It's a pain to remove and I had already started preheating my oven so I just left it on the bottom rack. I'm glad I did because it produced a super crispy pizza oven taste! I snagged a bite from my husband's slice and was quite pleasantly surprised! Crust was amazing, not too much sauce and no funky ingredients in the sauce, either. The brand of pepperoni used was exceptionally good. I would love to find out what brand it is so I could buy it separately. As usual, there wasn't enough pepperoni or cheese on it for our tastes but for a frozen pizza, it was really really impressive and delicious. I thought maybe it was just because I am used to my low carb pizzas but my husband said he would like to keep some stocked in the freezer for a quick tasty dinner. Don't hesitate to try this Barstool Sports One Bite Pepperoni Pizza!
I expected a one bite to hit me more than this did. It is a good pizza but you dont get that in just one bite. Would I buy it again? Yea. Does it really matter that it doesn't do what it claims? Not really. I love it. But its not one bite its one slice.
I really enjoyed this pepperoni pizza. I could tell right out of the box, it had a generous amount of toppings. From frozen to heated completely, only took 13 minutes. The pizza came out looking wonderful. Perfect amount of browned edges and bubbly cheese. After letting it cool I used a pizza clutter to divide the pizza into slices. I found it a little difficult to cut through the crust. Everyone really thought the pizza had a great flavor and plenty of toppings. The pepperoni was excellent. The only complaint, from everyone, was the chewy crust. It was crisp around the outside, but the middle was very chewy. I imagine some enjoy that very much. Next time, I may try cooking it a few minutes longer to see if I get more of a crispy crust throughout. I would definitely recommend having several of these in the freezer for a quick lunch or snack. For a frozen pizza, it ranks up there with the best of them.
As my son said, "this is actually the best pizza in the world!" Between two adults and two toddlers we gobbled this pizza up and my kids were still asking for more! The cheese flavor is pretty good, and the crust is thin and crunchy. I prefer thick and chewy, but that's just my preference. It cooked in about 15 minutes for us, and we used a foil lined cookie sheet instead of following the directions. I think the pizza was lacking on the pepperoni, but overall we enjoyed it anyway!
We eat a lot of frozen pizza and my kids eat a specific kind, so I thought they might like something new. They said it was ok after one piece they didn't want any more. The pizza they usually eat is cheaper than this one, so I'm ok with them preferring the cheap kind. I thought it was ok, but think I will stick to my local frozen pizza it tastes more like takeout than this one. All in all it's average, nice for something different, but isn't taking the place of my current go to.
The “One Bite” pepperoni pizza is nothing to brag about. It is not bad… just average pizza. Has a little zest to it. Not sure if it's the pepperoni or sauce. I don't care for really thick pizza crust and this was not too thick. Crust bottom came out very nice.
Now let us realize that we are dealing w/an inexpensive frozen pizza. I already wasn't expecting too much. You can't really expect an amazing frozen pizza at this price point. So going forward I will rate this in regards to other value pizzas. Firstly let's talk about baking this, it goes into a preheated 450°F oven, directly on the center rack (remove plastic and cardboard) . I recommend putting foil on the rack below the rack that you set the pizza on because there will be drips. This bakes for about 10 - 13 minutes. I baked mine w/convection and it took about 11+ minutes. Next, remove the pizza and let it sit for a couple of minutes before cutting. I had all 5 people (1 child, 2 teens, & 2 adults) in my household try this pizza. Everyone agrees that the sauce is NOT good. The crust was surprisingly soft and had decent flavor, but the underside of the crust looked overdone and it was like that prior to me baking it. The cheese was about what you'd expect for frozen pizza cheese. Overall I probably would not get this brand pizza again because the sauce just ruins it.
We are careful about the cheese we eat and *most* pizzas with light cheese are OK. This particular pizza however, has the unfortunate addition of parmesan cheese. Not only can we not tolerate eating it, the smell of parmesan is not something anyone in the family likes. For us, we would not buy it nor recommend it. I know this isn't necessarily a sticking point for anyone else, so if that doesn't bother you, try it out! It's just not something I want to try again.
Ok, I was selected to review this product in exchange for my honest opinion. I usually don't run across bad products often however this one is not good. 1st of all the product name can be misleading, "One bite" makes you first think it'll be small but it is a full size frozen pizza. "One bite" though is all I ate of this pizza. The appearance before cooking already looks like it's not full of cheese and after baking the whole thing has an odd texture. The pizza and pepperonis were doughy but the crust was turning brown. The pepperonis were like rubber and tasted like ham. I am nnot a fan at all and will not be purchasing this myself. I'm so sorry but this was awful :(
I received a coupon for a free pizza in exchange for a review and I git the supreme which I thought would have the best flavor but it did not. They are right by calling it one bite because all it takes is one bite of thus pizza to discover how gross it is. It has no flavor at all and just a light dusting of bland sauce if any, very little cheese. It looked good going in the oven and when it came out but it had no aroma of a pizza being baked. I followed the directions and thought fir sure it was going to come out burnt because it was a very thin pizza but it didn't- quite the opposite it was in the soggy side which made it more gross. I wanted to believe it tasted like good pizza but no matter how much I tried to imagine it it was not. I would not buy this and don't recommend it unless you like wasting money on gross pizza.
