My Sister and brother-in-law, doctors specifically told me to purchase the One-a-Day vitamin, because it's the only Multivitamin with every vitamin their bodies need to help them maintain their daily health and well-being. Their ages are 59yrs and 52yrs old. She takes the women and he takes the mend vitamins daily.
I usually buy generic, but this brand does not upset my stomach if taken on an empty stomach or not. This does not have biotin, or iron, so I add those supplements separately.
I have been taking vitamins off and on for years. I settled on the brand in my early 50's. It takes care of my concerns of not eating enough to supply the nutrients I need.
The vitamin is excellent. I made a complaint about this order though. Included in this order was Honey roasted peanuts which I never received and I wanted my tip returned.
There seems to have been a change in the formula. The tablets are bigger, snd they don't seem to be as as affechive. Go I've always used them. I'm looking for a other brand of vitamin now.
These are the best women's vitamins I could find, as far as what is included in them. Only thing is they're a bit large. They should either be in a capsule, costed, or divided so you take two instead of one. For now, I'm taking them until I can find something else as good that I can take easier. They lose one star because of the difficulty in taking them. They have a sort of rigid edge around the sides, presumably where the mold is, which can get stuck when swallowing. If you have difficulty swallowing pills, these may not be for you. See picture.
I tried to take these, and while they're a little difficult to swallow, they have a (IMO) strong, orange taste that makes me gag. I had to stop taking them.
Even taken with a meal, these caused extreme nausea. I never had that happen with this same brand a couple years ago. This container only has 65 doses, so it is not cheap. I'll bring these back and try a different brand.
