I absolutely was very happily surprised that the Onn CD Boombox was so tiny. Ans what a great sound that comes out of the spekers!. It is so portable,you can either plug it in or use batteries,which is great when the power goes out! Love this little CD player too. Great gift idea.
The onn. CD Boombox is a great product, and reminds me of when I was younger and carried a much larger variation! The sound quality is good, volume was surprisingly good, and it played all of my CDs, including CD/Rs. It also picks up local TH stations fairly well. I used it in my backyard and at a beach with excellent results. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family, and may buy another for my household.
I love this. I now have one for the patio and one for the house. Its the greatest especially for the price.

I purchased this CD player in the turquoise color and it's very pretty and doing what I wanted. My Christmas CD's are playing and sound great. I haven't had it long, but am enjoying.
This little boombox is just what I needed. It works as expected and it's so cute! The sound isn't great, but I like that it plays through the speakers or I can plug in headphones. At this price, I can't be too picky!
I purchased this CD player to listen to audiobooks from my library. I chose this one because it has back up battery power.... however, it isn't stated in the specs that the unit requires actual power from an outlet before it can be used with the batteries. In order to do this, you have to disconnect the ac adapter from the CD player NOT the plug from outlet. Power will continue to be supplied to the unit, however, when you plug the ac cord back into the player, it powers off. If you have to have an electrical current from a plug/outlet in order to power it on to use the batteries... what is the point in making it to use them? So... in other words... if the power goes out and you want to listen to your boom box ... it's not going to happen! I also don't like that it doesn't have a memory. If it gets powered off, the cd will play from the beginning instead of where you left off. Online had these for $3-$5 at my store, but when I got there, even though it stated they had them in stock... they were not anywhere in the store... so I ended up having to get this on (the same one, only repackaged and the ONN isn't stamped on the top of player.... the manager of the store was happy I drove to his Walmart and due to my inconvenience he did a price override to $15. So, for the price of $15 it serves its purpose. It would have gotten 5 stars if I only paid the clearance price of $3-$5... because at that price... u can't get everything you want.
It didn't work. My boys were so excited to listen to bedtime stories and it wouldn't play the first CD. We tried a few more and they would spin and spin without ever playing. We played anther and it finally read it only to stop after a few min. These were all brand new CD's. We tried a few more nights in a row with the same results. If we ever got one to start, it would never play the whole thing. Will be returning.
Gave this as a Christmas present. It worked for about a month. When I woke up one morning it is clicking on and off by itself and doesn't respond to any buttons pushed....tried the customer service number and since it's JUST outside of the 30 day window, there's nothing they can do! What a waste!
