Nobworries of not reaching and can sit anywhere
After paying $30 for new iPhone charging cords after they broke near the tip and would short out and not charge unless I held the cord just so... No thanks! I bought a couple of cheapies at Walmart , ONN brand, and have had no problems at all. I am careful about pulling it out and plugging it into my phone, but after a year usage I've had no problems. Have purchased 4 more for different parts of the house and porch and car and for airports - if I lose it it's only $5 to replace!
Bought this cable while waiting for the one i purchased online. In my area there is no where else to get one so took the chance. The one i was using came with my ipad air 2, it was junk only lasting 7 months. I did use my pad while charging but no heavy bending etc. it broke where they all do, where it plugs into device. Had ordered 6 ft so this 10 ft seemed great. I was skeptical couldnt find any Onn product reviews, but no choice. Held my breath when i plugged it in! Works great, have never gotten any error messages or any issue at all. I just LOVE this 10 ft length and the cable itself is very thick with very sturdy plugs. I have since received my other one and it is as sturdy as that one. It has only been 2 weeks but so far so good. Will continue to use as i hate to give up the 10 ft!
I'm on my second cable, and it's no good. These cables are not compatible with the iPhone 6 at all! What a waste of my time and money.
I bought this on the morning of Thursday, Sept 10 2015 to replace a charging cord that had worn out. At first, it worked fine. Then it would only work sporadically. Finally, on the night of Friday, Sept 18 2015, just 8 1/2 days after I bought it. the lead that goes into the phone's power port BROKE OFF!
This product has a very short lifespan. I just got my charger less than a week ago and it already stopped working. This has happened multiple other times as well.
If I could give this garbage 0 stars, I would. I've had this charger for about a week. Everything was going fine until I tried to unplug my iPad this morning... And the lightning connector was stuck inside of it! Had to get tweezers to get it out. Definitely not worth the money or hassle.
Buyer beware! And if you own it, please be careful! I was about to go to sleep, and noticed that this charger was really hot. Well, it started melting. I can't imagine what would've happened if I hadn't noticed.
I purchased this charging cable about 2 weeks ago. After leaving my phone plugged in all night, the battery was still completely dead. The phone acknowledged a connection, but no power was being received. I reset my phone to troubleshoot a possible software malfunction. This managed to turn the phone on with 3% of battery. As a college student, I am very dependent upon my phone. Luckily my roommate has an iPhone as well and I was able to use his charger. This made for a very unpleasant morning. I had heard negative things about this cable before my purchase, but I was dead-set on the convenience it would offer. I don't have my receipt so now I'm out $20 and still need another cable. I am very unhappy with the quality of this product.
I first purchased this cable about two months ago for my wife's iPhone and iPad. For about a month everything was fine. I came home and my wife said her cable broke off in her phone. I figured she had bent it and broke it off accidentally. She said she went to check why it wasn't charging. When she went to remove the cable, the lightning connector came off. Thinking it was just a fluke I went out and bought her another. To my surprise this one broke during it's first use. Again it wasn't charging and the lightning connector came out. Wal-Mart you truly let me down on this one. I will make an attempt t return it, but without the receipt................................
