I had a cracked tooth with the nerve exposed. It felt like someone had driven an ice pick from my tooth into my brain. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, couldn't function. I chipped my tooth and instantly I felt pain I wasn't able to make any doctor's appointment right away so they recommended to me to get orajel until my appointment. So I got the PM 4x medicated tooth and gum cream because I needed relief as soon as possible. I bought this with a horrible pain in my mouth hoping for relief. I have been buying store brand and saw this product and went for it. The minute i put it on i felt instant relief for hours. I was finally able to sleep. Just purely amazing. Im forever a Orajel Customer now.
I'm 15 and my wisdom teeth or finally coming in, so my older sister gave me this to help and I used it about 5 minutes ago and I don't feel a thing where it's coming in. 10/10 I can now eat my chocolate without being in pain
I went to the ER one night ago crying in pain the only thing they told me was my tooth was infected they wouldn't give me no pain meds antibiotics,Motrin I was still crying I even tried a oxycodone it didn't work so I just brought this orajel instant relief I haven't slept in three days thanks orajel
I brought this last night and it didnt help at all... Maybe only for a min and the pain comes back. I use to love oral gel. The old formula was very good.
Pick this up to get me thru a couple nights till my dentist appt. worked for about 5 minites then pain was right back. Not worth the time to walk thru the store to buy it
I used to buy the triple medicated cream (regular or PM extra strength) and they were wonderful. That formula is no longer available. Orajel came out with a new 4X medicated “cream” ... they should discontinue this garbage. Why they felt the need to change an excellent product is beyond me. Somehow the “extra power” Is even less effective. It is by no means a “cream”. It now has the same consistency as the gel formulas. It doesn't stay put in your mouth. The pain relieving effect wears off so quickly that it's pointless to use it. I used to exclusively use the orajel brand. When I tried the cvs generic, it felt like sand had been mixed into the tube with the cream. Now I seek out the cvs generic, as the sandy textured cream is far superior to this ineffective gel that orajel is selling under the guise of a pain relieving cream. Let me know when you return to the previous formula.
As of lately you guys have decided to switch to a new kind of formula for your gel. well let me just tell you it is absolutely horrible! it gives very little too absolutely no relief; and the few and I mean very few times it does the relief only lasts and meer minute or two. I would advise you switch back to the old formula because that actually did some good. In fact I really wish I had some here now. This after being a long time user of your product has now made me highly suspect of any other Orajel products.
Used this for pain associated with my impacted wisdom tooth flaring up. It worked for maybe thirty minutes and then I was woken up with how much pain I was in. Oragel has helped me a lot over the years dealing with my flareups. This was a serious let down. Never again.
