5 Large Heavy boxes. One of which was skewered by the fork lift operator braking one of the parts of the desk. Thankfully, it faces to the back of the unit and can't be seen. Took 2 days to put together. Some parts not marked with Letter, but picture on instructions helped ID part. All parts avail and fit together. In all, I love the desk. It is done and filled with everything I had in my old desk and so much more. 4 Stars given because the shipper damaged the LARGE Main box. The cardboard used to ship it should have been of heavier construction. Once the integrity of the box was compromised, all the small parts traveled to the bottom of the box.
