I recently bought the Farpoint Trek 55 for travel and I love it! I bought this one mostly because it can attach to it and is the perfect size for a personal item on a plane while the larger bag can usually fit as a carry on (or can be checked if needed). I really like it though and have started using it daily for work with my laptop, headphones, and essentials. It is light weight, basic, and minimalist which is great for travel. For a daily bag I would like the front little pocket to have little pockets inside to organize my little stuff but I'm not complaining about that. My biggest complaint is that I really like waist straps and this doesn't have them. I have even searched for some that I can buy separate and haven't found any. They really take the load off the shoulders. although I probably won't carry anything too heavy in here, but would still like it.
This pack is almost perfect. I love it because it works with my Fairview pack perfectly. I LOVE everything about but was super disappoint to find out that it doesn't have a hip strap like the regular Daylite pack.
I only gave 3 stars for the lack of locking zippers, The idea of not being able to secure the main area is not good, there you have your laptop and electronics. The ability to add a lock is a great theft deterrent The rest of the bag is perfect the ability to expand etc... Too bad about no locking zippers..
