[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my new blender. Awesome is the word.
The only thing I see so far is that the lid has no way to take if off except to take off the plastic knob and stick my fingers in the hole,also the knob or measuring cup is poorly designed because I have to put a towel on the lid to keep it from shooting out.
I created a smoothie with spinach,pinapple,blueberries, and banana. Everything was completely liquified. My kids didn't notice the difference and even asked for seconds. The only draw back is that the blender top and base was constantly moving I had to hold it still. The base was spinning in circles as if it was in a hula hoop contest. Even though this occurred it still got the job done.
I'm in shock! It just completely died on me after less than 6 months! The worst part is I used it maybe 3-4 a month! The only used it for fruit smoothies! I'm beyond disappointed. Waste of money.
I bought this blender about a year ago or less. I have not even used it 10 times and it just broke, while mixing waffle batter. My last blender lasted YEARS! This blender will now take up space in a land fill. I'm going to see if I can contact Oster, but I guess I got what I deserved for purchasing a product that cost less than $20 at Walmart.
