A great "starter" product

This looks great on counter! Blender works perfectly. Processor attachment works perfectly as well... The only drawback is it does not come with the slicer/shred attachment/insert. So, I am going to call Manufacturer to see if I can buy it seperatly. But, it will, as is, fine chop veggies, and turn nuts into nut butters, just remember that all this is 1 cup at a time, which is fine for my family of 2. Price paid is terrific for it's capabilities, as is! But, if you want more capabilities with the Processor part, or you have a family of 4 or more, then invest in a more multi-function/larger capacity version.

I use the blender crushing peanuts, making different types of chutney, grinding dal for dahi vada/idli e.t.c and it works good. I will surely recommend it to anyone I know.

I'm very pleased with this product. I needed a new blender and the added feature of the processor was a bonus for me. My dog is on a special diet and I have to make her food. The processor does everything I need it to do and more. The blender, with glass jar, is awesome as well. Both units work great and quickly.

I'm enjoying using this product, the only thing I don't agree with is the lid, it's too soft, sometimes when I try to add something to what I'm blending the clear plastic piece in the middle falls in the mix, otherwise, it works wonderful. I like the color too.

Hi all, Been a fan of Oster products for a very long time... my mom used it for years together. Was a little bit skeptical when Sunbeam bought; hey it worked out fine, I guess. We had a Mixer/Grinder from India which we used every day. It included a 750ml steel jar along with a food processor (many attachments) and a small jar a little larger than average coffee grinder. Well, the grinder wouldnt start and no one here in NY would fix it. Hence, had to look for a new one. We moved over the summer and I couldn't find my old Oster Jar along with lids and base and blades. I had the base unit. When I tried to buy the blades etc., it came to be around $25.00. Walmart was selling this for $35.00, which included a food processor unit. I decided that its okay if I have an extra base unit, but I will get the jar and blades and food processor unit. Target was selling the same unit with plastic jar for $18.00. Didn't want the plastic jar... hence opted for this one. Now, the glass jar is not all that conical but more of flower shaped. The shakes and juices blend well. However, for Indian curry pastes and dosa/idli batter, we need to have enough quantity and add water a lot to make the liquid/masala churn for better grinding. Same thing with the food processor - we need to have substantial amount of ingredients in there for it to process it. The instruction book says that we can use the FoodProc to chop 3-4 cloves of garlic to get 1tsp of minced garlic. I would highly doubt that you can use it to mince a couple of cloves of garlic without the garlic hitting the side wall of the foodProc and not getting minced at all. The motor is powerful and you have several speeds to choose from. This is one of my chief complaint against other manufacturers - give more speeds than a couple of preset buttons. As with all Osters, since their inception, there is no latch for the unit to hold the glass jar. This I believe is an improvement terribly needed. Again, this is a safety issue too... they do not want anyone leaving the blender ON for a while without supervision. The FoodProc has addtional parts available from the manufacturer for an additional $15 + tax + shipping. Its worth to get that. (Guess its already included in the fusion model) I would recommend this blender as it is durable. Yes, it is not quite - the motors are powerful. Its solid construction holds its value. One more thing, the power cord could have been a little longer. Cheers, happy cooking or should I say blending?? Sam

Oster has been my choice in blenders for years. I once again am not disappointed. The last one lasted 18 years of medium use. This one comes with the Food Processor which is pretty nice. Can't beat the price for all you get. Best features are real glass top and metal gear parts.

This is a great value. It's pretty good for the price I paid. I love the food processor part. It chops onions fast and evenly. No more tears ^_^V The only part that was a little disappointing is the Ice Crush feature. It doesn't really crush the ice to the Smoothie stage. So when i made "Smoothie", there were mostly ice chunks. But for the price I paid for it's fair not to be "perfect". Oh, and the other colors might look better. The black one looks cheap and my BF hides this thing when we are not using it. LOL

The top flies off every time I try to use this blender without holding it on. The pitcher is glass, but the food processor bowl is flimsy plastic. It leaks, even with the gasket. However, it blends exceptionally well, making smooth smoothies and creamy milkshakes.

The blender with food processor was received without the processor cover, food pusher and blade. According to the instruction booklet, only one of the two covers is included. Wasmart :HELP: says none of the three items is included. How can this appliance be advertised as a food processor when vital parts are missing. I currently have an E-mail to the manufacturer to verify what parts are to be included.

This thing is a piece of junk. I have returned it twice in a month to exchange it for the same thing, and the third one still doesn't work right. Going to go get my money back as soon as I have time
