Love this blender i did a smoothie and crushed the ice perfectly came out great and for the price its a bargain. Im happy that i purchased this product.
I purchased this blender to cut back on my frappuccino expense and it was sooo worth it! It crushes ice to perfection. I can dump and whole tray of ice in along with a cup of coffee and milk and sugar and in seconds it is ready! The blender is quick and quietly crushes up the ice. A lot less expensive than the frappe maker and works great!
simply put this blender is awesome oster has done it again supperior quality all the way around!!! the all metal drive system is definatley the way to go!! I had a hamilton beach blender and it dident last a month!!! the drive system on that blender was all plastic very cheap. so if you want a good blender at a great price buy the oster!!
Good blender for the money. Has the same jar and blades of the more expense models. makes good smoothies, chops ice well.
it is good for making smoothies, shakes and sorbets. i am loving it so far. the only thing that bothers me is the jar which is made of glass and that kind of makes it heavier than expected. but overall a great product and a great buy.
Does a good job making smoothies, mixes very well without alot of vibration. Noise level is acceptalbe and stable during operation. About the only thing I dislike are the cheap feeling push buttons. Other than that I would recommend as an overall good value for the price, I paid $26 total using the ship to store site. Thanks Walmart!
We got this about 2 weeks ago. We've used it several times. The first time it had a burning smell, and it continues to do that, although much less than the initial use. My husband is the one who uses it (and yes it is me the wife who is reviewing), and he has troubles at times, getting the jar on the base. But so far he's been able to get it every time, and it does a good job pulverizing the frozen fruit we've put in it.
I would have rated it higher, if one of the keys on the blender wasn't faulty. The button for the highest speed on the blender doesn't remain pressed when released so only way to operate at highest speed is to stand there keeping it pressed. Apart from that its a fine, though it doesn't seem as sturdy as I would have hoped.
I picked this blender because of all the glowing reviews it got, but I don't see what the big deal is. I was expecting some super-blender for an extremely low price based on what everyone else's review said, but really it's just your basic $20 or so blender. It blends pretty well but it doesn't have lots of power and it leaves some chunks of ice. It does the job. At least it didn't start smoking the first time I used it like the last blender I bought!
We have smoothies for breakfast every morning. Our old blender was from Walmart and was a Durabrand and is no longer avaliable. We picked out this blender for the brand name, glass pitcher, and the price. If I could return it I would. It vibrates across the counter, it does not blend ingredients properly even on the highest setting and I am disappointed at the overall quality. Don't buy this blender!
