My daughter loves this. Great value for the money. Ours had 2 puppies inside. Some people complain that the mommy puppy doesn't make noises. You have to put the little puppy noses right on the magnetic plate that is in the mommy dog's neck and then she barks, etc.
bought as a christmas gift and my Daughter loves it. but was confused when the 3rd pup was a purple pig.
I bought this as a gift for my 7yr. old neice for Christmas. She couldn't wait to get it out of the box to see how many puppies were inside. I think us adults were just as excited to find out. Plus seeing my neice's reaction was priceless..
My 6 y/o daughter saw this online and begged for it so I ordered it for her for Christmas. It arrived and is super cute and really cute and cuddly. My girl loves animals and I know she's going to love this on Christmas morning!
Very cute, but would be hard for a child to replace the puppies (inside) very small space with the battery pack
I gave this to my daughter already as an early christmas present. The dog is cute and she likes the puppies (although they look cheap to me). However, the sounds don't work. I put in new batteries as the directions specify and it only makes one barking sound when you press the paw in try me mode, and this button is difficult even for me to get to work most of the time. In the on mode, nothing happens. In this mode, you don't get any sound when you press the paw and it doesn't make any sounds when you put the nose of the puppies up to the mommy's chin. This item is still a good value for the price and my daughter does enjoy it, but if your little girl is expecting it to work, don't buy this.
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter and.. The puppy itself is very adorable. However.. this did not include instructions, adoption certificate, puppy birth certificates or the sticker for mommy's collar. (the box says it includes these things and it did not) Also to top things off.. WalMart sent it to me with the "Try Me" mode on.. and by the time it reached my home it was defective, it did not work. I tried replacing the batteries and still had no luck. Unfortunately this item was returned and traded in for another gift, as when I returned it they did not carry this item in store.
This toy is pretty cute, but it would be better if the puppies actually matched the mom. I was expecting dalmation puppies, but instead got one black and white, one brown, and one pink one that looked like a little pig. Overall, this is cute but nothing special. My kids didn't play with it at all the first day, but I've noticed it has resurfaced in their pretend play as a "fire dog" to go with their firefighter outfits, which was why I got it in the first place. :)
I bought this for my 6 yr old daughter for Christmas and had to return it. I would like to warn all parents that this product does not work. It barks in try me mode, but does nothing in on position when puppys are put near mom's chin. It is very cute and was exciting to see how many puppy's were inside but once they were out that was it. Nothing else happened. I just thought I bought one that was broke until I read another review that said the same thing happened.
