This one is better than the Ott light that it replaced (a model from about 15 years ago). It is much more streamlined, lightweight, has a touch pad "on and off" switch, USB connection and speakers. All of this for a lower price than the older one had. I lost my existing Ott light in a tornado last April, but this one has proven to be far superior, and I expect that it will last for many years to come.
Sturdy and nice features, especially the variable light options.
I use this light at my work desk. It sits between two computer monitors to light up my work space and my keyboard. The speaker is perfect for pairing with my phone or table to listen to music or binge watch shows.
I like the speaker built in to play music at my desk. The light is bright enough to illuminate my face in Zoom meetings. I wish the two prongs of the light fixture could separate more- one for my desk work, another for my plants.
Like this lamp for my work table. However, the USB port does not support all charger cords
