This pack lasted my kid all year. towards the end there was some tear in the seam but that is huge and long lasting. I usually pay more and have to buy two just to last the school year.
This is the second one I've bought. My other one lasted 2 years and I used it daily. I will never buy another one from any other company.
Needed a backpack for a high school student that carries a laptop every day. This is a good size, well constructed and includes a pocket specifically for a laptop.
I've been using one of these for over a year--a used one someone gave me--and when it finally got worn out (it really took a beating), I went looking for a new one but nothing had near the amount of pockets and ease of access. I had to go in search of an exact model replacement, which wasn't as easy as one may think, and found the best value at Walmart; though the online price is a lot better than an in-store purchase.
My son has had this type on back pack for two consecutive school years, bought at Walmart. It took him through 3rd and 4th grade. It comes with a lot of sections, pockets and store away room, it has very sturdy, adjustable padded straps. He's a rough and tough child, so if this bag has held up with him then I surely will give it a thumbs up. I am currently looking for a new outdoor product backpack for him for the upcoming school years.
My son needed a school backpack and after much searching we selected this bag. I was a little worried since it was so much cheaper in price compared to most school backpacks. However, after a full school year the bag is still in excellent condition. My son even plans to use it again for the next school year. I don't think we have ever had a bag last so well. What makes this bag so great is the front pouch is the perfect place for a lunch box. My son always has a full backpack and rarely had room for a lunchbox in the bag. This backpack was the perfect solution for this problem. Definitely worth the money!
I used these daily for carrying a laptop and various computer cables and other camera accesories. Lasted almost a solid year and half and through lots of use and travel before the zippers started busting. Probably from over filling the backpack with gear but it was well worth the cost. I will be heading to Walmart's today to pick up another one and hopefully I will get another good year or two out of it.
