It is light, looks strong, side meshed pockets, adequate capacity
Very well built and roomy backpack. Plenty of pockets and storage. Can't Beat it with a price of 12 dollars.
The backpack is really great, it has enough space for a day hike and the straps felt comfortable. I also bought the 2L Hydration Reservoir to go with it and I'm happy I did because I overheat sometimes and now I don't have to stop and grab my water. It has many pockets and two loop straps in front that are good to hang stuff from, such as my water shoes after they are wet. I am using this backpack for my hiking trips and I'm glad I took a chance on this bag because other backpacks cost a lot more and do the same thing. I only wish the zippers went down all the way to the bottom of the sides of the bag, so I could open it up all the way and see everything inside my bag. Other then that this backpack got a 99 out of a 100 for me.
This Backpack is a steal at this price. Seriously, you get a really good backpack for the price. I am not a professional or avid hiker and that is not why I bought this so I don't have much to say on that subject. I bought this to carry my Bible, notebooks, and books. It serves the purpose well. It is wide and fits a lot in the main compartment. For me as I type this, I have my Bible, 4 spiral notebooks, a thick devotional book, and one other 300+ book.....and it still has plenty additional space for more. The backpack has two zippered compartments on either side as well as compartments on the outside of those that are meshed. The front of it has a very generous compartment for pens, pencils, keys, money, etc...and it is very nice. I don't use it, but they is a place on the inside for a "camelpack" water system, complete with a hole out of the top of it. It has plenty of cushion for the back and a strap to go across the chest. It has two loops off of the back of it which I though that I would never used, but ended up clipping a water bottle off it. Lastly, it has a small zipper compartment on top of it that in my opinion has no real use and gets in the way. It is a small vinyl pocket that hangs into the main compartment. It does get in the way, but I will deal with it considering ALL of the other advantages that this bag has. Some reviewers mentioned that the bag only unzips half way, but that doesn't seem to be a big issue when I use it. Overall, very excellent bag.....you will not be disappointed!
Good amount of pockets for a smaller pack. Has a separate pocket for a hydro pack. Bought two, my wife stole one, going to order another one. Good price, under $20 & a Lifetime Warranty.
We just brought it home today, so I don't have any real assessment of how it will hold up long term. We bought this for a steal; Outdoor Products has a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty; this seems to be a mid-quality pack with all the features we were looking for. I'm impressed.
I bought this backpack for my kids to use for their 72 hours kits. They are fairly large and I like the extra zipper pockets. The loops on the bottom front are usefull to attach or hang things from. Though I haven't packed their kits yet, I am pleased with the purchase.
This was just too small for all my daughter's high school books and the color was gray with bright yellow tabs and accents. It did NOT look like this picture! We traded it in for an Eassport larger one that is perfect.
It's better not to buy this kind of backpack. Quality is not good as described.
This item was purchased for a gift for my adult son. I took measurement from his old bag that he has had for many years and it shows. The bag is a nice looking back pack. But the opening and the angles of its shaping takes away space from its dimensions of width and depth which causes it to have minimal interior space in the main compartment . His other bag when compared is more squared off which gives more room in main compartment
