I love this windmill, very happy with the purchase, came in fast, instructions could be better though.
Easy to assemble, looks great in the yard and definitely an attention getter.
My husband asked for a windmill for Christmas and I found one on Hayneedle! He couldn't be happier and assembly was no problem for him. Just what he wanted, great price and I love the rewards Hayneedle offers! Winner-Winner!!!
I was looking for a windmill taller than 10' and found this one. It's a great addition to my backyard. Took a little time putting together but the finished product is worth the time. Great price. Really happy with it.
I bought the 12ft model for my husband for an anniversary gift! Purchased it Monday and it was delivered Saturday!! It took my husband and a friend a few hours to put it together, once they figured out the cross members it was fast! We love it!
It is a good product. Follow the directions carefully. I would say I'm above average mechanically and it took me about 3 hours to assemble. Would go more smoothly with a person to help! I spray painted the fan black and tail red which made it much more attractive and cut down on the sun glaring off the fan blades.
Took down our barn and needed something around the well casing. Took about three hours to put together. Not super easy. Just needed to figure the cross/brace member design/pattern out and then it was easy to assemble. Looks great in our yard. It was what we were looking for.
Look really nice, installed some extra stakes.
The windmill looks good enough-- durable and attractive. However,the assembly instructions were not good. They did not provide enough detail and explanation so there was a bit of trial and error to figure out what part went where. The 3-4 hour assembly estimate is accurate.
Ordered 12ft windmill.....got leg set for 10ft...all other parts for the 12ft were there...short 4 leg sections....called got representative said parts would be shipped in 48 hrs....didn't show.. wanted to display for weekend didn't happen...not a happy camper.
