I put the owlet baby monitor on my registry after reading many great reviews. This product didn't disappoint, and lived up to its reviews. When my husband is gone from home for work he loves being able to see our baby sleep through his phone on the app. This product is amazing and we would recommend it to anyone.
Omg the owlet foot monitor baby cam combo . Gives you so much piece of mind and is hands down worth every penny . The camera links to your phone , so you can see your baby anywhere anytime. When I had class at night , I could check my owlet cam and see live footage of him just snoozing away . The foot sock tracks oxygen saturation and heartbeat . My grandma lost a child to SIDS , so it had always been a huge fear of mine . It doesn’t prevent SIDS but it will alarm you immediately if the oxygen levels drop below normal or the heart rate is below normal or too high meaning distress , which can give you the seconds you need for live saving actions . Basically I could sleep soundly because I had a second pair of eyes constantly watching . Here is my baby now on the owlet cam, he has since grown out of his owlet sock .
I bought this monitor and camera about a month ago and I couldn't be more happy that I did! My son does not sleep well on his back, so stomach sleeping is all he will do. Having this monitor gives me such peace of mind so that I can get some sleep! The base station is very loud too when there is a problem, which is great for deep sleepers! Would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a baby!
Our 10 month old just had a heart transplant, so this sock is of the upmost importance to us. Although it isn't able to be programmed with a child of his condition ,it really gives us a peace of mind being monitored constantly. Since he was in the hospital the first 9 months of his life and when something was off or wrong with his stats we had alarms! Also it keeps findings and history which is something we already had to do everyday upon release from the PICCU so now it's saved in my phone. We just got woke up to a red alarm be and my husband both jumped up to see what was going on it was loud and startling which is awesome because we got so used to alarms in the hospital tuning them out was no problem. His oxygen dropped past 80 .I evaluated him color , listening to rhythm, no fever so I will wait to contact transplant team until morning but man how nice is it to get warnings because with a baby with his condition rejection of the heart is what effects these kids the most and early detection is how we can stop the rejection before to much damage is done. I know your probably wondering why we didn't get released with our own monitors?. It's because he isn't on oxygen he breaths room air and he literally is a 3 million dollar baby they have paid out alot in his short life. I will highly recommend this sock to all my heart mommas and families for a peace of mind they need after being released!
Ehhh, when it works then it works but when it doesn't work it's frustrating. This cam bundled with 2 sock monitors is what we initially bought a year ago. It does the job when it wants to. There is always on going connection issues between the wifi and base, the sock and base, our phones and the cam not loading. It's been an on going issue, after issue, after issue. Somehow the cam is always losing connection and is “offline”. The sock is always “disconnected from base station” and now notifications aren't coming through like they had been. Also, there seems to always be a “sock placement issue” even though we've placed it accordingly like the instructional videos have told us. My wife and I's child was running a high fever and heart rate increased above 220/bpm. According to the owlet cam instructions and notifications information the app/ cam/ sock is suppose to alert us. I was at the fire station and my wife was at home holding our child when his HR went above 220/bpm. Neither her nor I received any notification informing us of the high heart rate. My wife just barely heard the alert from the base station that is in his nursery and immediately jumped up to make sure he was okay. This type of negligence and failure to notify shouldn't be happening for something we spent a lot of money on to help protect our child. We ended up taking our child to the ER. Upon being discharged, several hours later, we place the sock on our child again and the cam was not working. If there is a better monitor out there I would highly recommend checking the reviews, pros and cons between the two and make your best judgement decision. Like I said, when it works it works when it doesn't work it's frustrating.
WORST baby camara I've seen. I was so excited to buy this monitor and it has unbelievable let me down. I can never get it to connect and it's ridiculously hard to connect. I reconnect to WiFi it'll work for a couple hours max then stops again. The sock works great but I would never recommend the camara to any new mom it doesn't easy my worries at all!!
So disappointed with how expensive this monitor is and how unreliable it is. At least once a week this issue comes up and won't fix itself unless you unplug the unit from power which is really handy when you're wanting to see bubs because she's sleeping so can't just walk in and unplug it. Don't waste your money on such an expensive monitor that is subpar
I have had this product for less than 2 months and it hardly ever works!!! Which is very inconvenient when you're trying use use it after you put your baby to sleep. It also doesn't come with an actually monitor so if it doesn't work on your phone, you're just out of luck. Customer service wants me to do 80 million things to try and fix it. I'd just rather use our cheap one that I know actually works.
This camera is trash and the app was made my a 4th grader. You will be lucky to connect to camera period... you don't have time to fiddle with a dumbest camera after getting a child to sleep... garbage garbage garbage
I would never recommend this product to anyone. It has a great picture when it connects to wi-fi but that rarely happens. It randomly loses connection even though it has a full wi-fi signal. Then it will never reconnect unless you unplug it and plug it back in, which is not something you can do in the middle of the night. It would be a great product if it actually did what it was suppose to.
