We have been using Owlet Duo 2 for the last few months and WOW, it has been a game changer. I have so much more peace of mind during his naps and while he sleeps at night now. I love how easy it is to access the sleep indicators on the user-friendly app and the sleep predictability is such a cool feature! Definitely recommend!
Ordered one two years ago for our first grandchild. They loved it. Now one for second grandchild.
My granddaughter was born early and was in ICU. This has given her parents a lot of piece of mind.
We love everything about it. But most of all that it alerts you if sock falls off.
With my new born, we only use the owlet at night. While we sleep. It gives me a peace at mind. Camera stays on 24/7 and I love the alerts we get. Even when we are not home. Picks up motion and sounds.
Daughter in law loved it!! nothing not to like, clear picture, easy to setup/use and gave her the ultimate peace of mind through out the night. Great purchase!
The hospital sent us home with a pulse/ox machine that was horrible! Every time baby moved and it couldn't get a reading alarms went crazy, not to mention it was attached to a chord... not baby friendly. The owlett has been a game changer for us! We bought 2 and monitored her all day at first. Now we monitor at night and nap times and during trial offs for her vent! My only complaint is that I can't use it traveling as it needs Wi-Fi and cannot connect to Hotspot. Otherwise this is hands down the best purchase we've made for our trach baby and if you have a kiddo needs monitoring I highly recommend this product! Owlett please work on making this device work for travel! Our specialists are in a hospital 4 hours away and it would help us tremendously! We tested it in tandem with our hospital pulse ox machine and consistently got the same readings. It fits comfortably in footy pj's and under socks!
I love every feature it even tones out the tv you have in the room and knows the difference between his tv and cry. I can check on my son while I'm at work when he's with his dad I can talk to daddy or grandma and my son while I'm at work reminding him of things through the 2 way mic. Only thing I wish is the sock was just easier to put on and/ or stay on sometimes I get waken up At night cause he kick it off by mistake and I never know if it's applied to tight maybe a pull up snug sock will be better in the next series.
We purchased the camera and the son duo prior to our daughter's arrival and couldn't imagine coming home from the hospital and not having these at home for us. The only downsides that the sock still fits a little big for our 5 weeks old baby. The camera works good however sometimes it disconnects from our phone we believe is due to internet connection,
The sock has an awesome features and it has worked amazingly(the 9 months it worked). I reached out and they sent a new sensor but I honestly was just disappointed over all. The camera has horrible quality for the price point. I was between the owlet and the nanit and I would recommend everyone to pass on the owlet. Video quality is horrible. Baby looks almost blurry. Had to install a separate camera to better monitor the baby.
