We've been using OxiClean for years (packaging has changed, don't think the product has), and it is super effective in getting out just about EVERY stain that I've used it on, both as a squirt-on (mixed with some water in a squeeze bottle, for heavier or 'spot' stains), and just added to the wash load to brighten colors and whiter whites. Best to use in Cold water settings, as warm / hot water will usually "set" the stain and make it impossible to remove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is amazing at lifting stains out. I had some white bath mats that I had washed without this OxiClean and it was dingy. I washed them again today with the OxiClean and wow, they are much whiter!
I absolutely LOVE how it attacks stains on my white mattress cover! My husband sweats alot at night 365 days a year and as it oxidizes it makes the cover yellow %26 oxiclean makes it almost brand new! so every 2 months the cover soaks in oxi overnight and then to to the laundromat it goes and it looks brand new when we bring it home!

It can be used for clothes, blankets, or towels which is awesome. From when I used it, it felt like it was okay, no major differences in cleanliness.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only received a sample pack, not a 3lb container. This was easy to add to my HE washer + it did remove most of the stains in my clothes, but I did notice that a stain was still on one of my shirts from when I was working outside. I had a fairly large load of laundry + only used about 1/3 of the package. I'd probably stick with the stain removing sprays for the effectiveness.
Item itself was not the problem. Container lid was off in the box. Lots spilled and mixed with the packing paper. Poured most from the box but much ended up all over the floor.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It did do the job, however if you have sensitive skin, I suggest you try something that is a little less potent . It really did remove baby spit up on MY clothes but it made me itchy after it went through wash ect.
