Great boots. I moved to rural Nevada last summer and live in the mountains at 7,000 feet. I hike with my dogs every day, in addition to work on the land and house. So boots do not last long. I have been wearing Columbia boots, but at $70 to $100 a pair it adds up quickly. Was looking for a cheaper alternative, and decided to try the Ozark boots. They are GREAT!. Every bit as comfortable as the other boots, and the quality seems just as good. At less than half the price for the same quality and comfort, I am already a loyal Ozark customer.
Purchased these for my adult son last year for Christmas, but he didn't wear much last year. Never really been a boot guy, but I knew I could win him over!! ;-) He put them on this year and won't take them off! Loves them. Nice sturdy boots that seem to be holding up to the snow and weather, so all is well so far!
The Ozark Waterproof boots are the only boots my husband wears. He's been buying these books for thirty years now. He likes how they feel and he mostly likes the vented parts of the boots. His feet dont sweat while wearing the boots
I can't say enough good about these boots-they are incredibly comfortable and beautiful. I'm a woman so I got a size smaller in these. I work in a job where my feet are hitting concrete all day and these are just perfect. I would, and will buy again as long as they keep making these!
This is the 3rd pair of ozark trail hikers. All are extremely comfortable from step one. They lack durability-usually about a year w/frequent use. all required double knots in laces to remain tied. Have not yet verified the waterproof character of current purchase. Good return policy allows trial fit to insure proper size. Due to thin soles recommend using gel insoles for comfort.
Inner sole wore out before rest of shoe
Great shoe for the money so far!
They felt good at first. Seem to have a quality fit and make but after 2 days of wearing them, my feet seem to hurt because the sides of the inner soles are higher than the middle. Kind of like a moon shape insole. I will try another week to see if any better. Also, seam threads around one side front of shoe seem to be untethering.
Bought this shoe 3 weeks ago after few days of use. side of the shoe is open its no worth of buying waterproofing well but after side of open water is going they didnt glue this shoe proparly
Disappointing. I purchased these for specifically cleaning up a property we purchased. One of the boots cushioned heel literally sank to the rubber bottom of the boot after a couple of uses. In addition , these boots ARE NOT waterproof. Again , after a couple of uses the boots leave your feet wet. Do not purchase these boots. If you are able to increase your budget for better quality boots please do so.
