I LOOOOOVE this product! It feels good putting on and rinsing it off and really shampoos your hair! The only thing is that i would vary go back and forth with this shampoo(and caonditioner) + a 2and1 shampoo because if you use this everyday it will do the oppisite of what it says it will dehydrate your hair. for instance I vary between this and 2and1 body envy shampoo and conditioner(the 2and1 kind)! But overall its AWESOME I TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT!
Smells great...coconut and Hawaiian Tropic/ like.
I LOVE this product!!! I had been using Garnier Fructis before and I really wanted to try Herbal Essences mostly because of the scents. I used this for the first time after swimming and my hair has never felt better! It moisturized a lot better than my old shampoos! Plus, I am in love with the scent; it is sooo sweet!!
hello hydration was great for me all winter, i get really dried out hair in the winter because of the air being dry, but now that it's getting to be spring and it's more humid out, it's making my hair greasy. great for people who have dry hair or for winter, but unless you want to look like you use oil instead of hairspray, don't use it during the spring.
I know this is a long review, but trust me, it will be worth reading This is my COMPLETE honest review. Overall, it's a good shampoo. I use the shampoo AND conditioner. They work well together AND induvidually. This review will be on the shampoo only. As far as shampoo goes, it's a GREAT shampoo. It cleanses your hair very well, but also adds light moisture & hydration. This is perfect for dry, normal, and even oily hair! The only thing I didn't like about the shampoo is the fact that it has SO much sulfate in it! It had soduim lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, etc.! Sulfates dry your air out, and there shouldn't be this much sulfate in a moisturizing shampoo. I like the color and scent. It's a nice, deep baby blue color. And it smels like cocnit and vanilla. The scent is really relaxing and calming. The product is very affordable, and for three dollars, I think you get what you pay for & maybe a little more. It's nice, and cleanses your hair, but doesn't moisturize as much as I'd like. It's a good buy, but I hope Clairol decides to put a little less sulfate and paraben in the shampoo soon. xoxo
this product does in fact what it says on the bottle. after one wash it makes your hair feel amazingly soft and full of volume. you can definetly notice the difference when you see the top of your head and the body you've gained in your hair after using the shampoo. a plus is that it smells absolutley amazing, like fresh coconuts and vanilla and it will keep your hair smelling this way. The only bad thing I have to say at this product is that near your scalp area and the top of your head it may feel as if you've put hairspray or powder in it. Other than that, this product is great for soft locks and defense against split ends!
I have poker straight hair and I wanted to use an Herbal Essences product that would hydrate my hair for the winter (I usually use Body Envy and I love it), but after the first wash I found that when my hair dried it would feel stiff near the roots and would clump together. I can't seem to get the residue it leaves out no matter how much I rinse. I'm toughing it out and using the rest of the bottle, but I probably won't be purchasing it again. I will, however, say that the residue is probably good for curly or kinky hair since it locks tendrils together. But for naturally straight hair, it weighs the hair down and allows it to get oily much faster. I'll be sticking with Body Envy from now on.
I recently tried this shampoo (and conditioner) after it was recommended to me by a friend. I was told that it smelled great, and hydrated hair very well. However, after using it, I had a terribly itchy scalp, and my hair dried out quickly. I have no allergies, so I don't recommend this product.
This product did the weirdest thing...and it wasn't good. It made my roots super oily and frizzy, but towards the end of my hair it got really really dry. I didn't get how a hydrating team could come up with something like that. I used to like the smell, but after using other HE products, I realized it's too strong. I don't recommend this product to anyone. I DEFINITELY recommend the Long Term Relationship s+c. It smells 1000 times better, and it works amazingly. I absolutely love it.
This is by far the worst shampoo I have ever used. It leaves a film in your hair and makes the hair by the scalp look greasy. I do not use hair products like gel or hairspray and my hair is normally beautiful and maintenance free. I have never had a bad hair day until I used this stuff. Seriously do not recommend. I have used this product only 3 times and it is going straight into the trash. I wouldn't wash my dog with this stuff. The only good thing I can say is that it smells pretty good.
