I love this shampoo and it cleanes my hair as well as the salon expensive products.
I have been a constant hair care brand hopper for years. But I've got to admit, this conditioner is a curly girl's best friend! My hair is thick and curly, so I shampoo every other day and condition daily. Before, my hair was extremely frizzy and poofy, but when I got out of the shower today, I was left with beautiful, defined, and bouncy curls that looked like perfect spirals! It also wasn't all poofy and crazy like before. What I also like about this conditioner is that it's not thick and heavy like salon products usually are. The scent is not too overpowering, either; it's just a light, gentle, floral fragrance. This conditioner is also very light, so I wouldn't recommend this if you have dry or unmanageable hair, because it might not be enough conditioning for you. If you have hair like that, try Hello Hydration or the Hydralicious dry/damaged hair types collection. However, this works wonders on my hair. But then again, it's not in terrible condition.
This is a nice shampoo. A lot of shampoos tangle my hair, but when I used this, it actually detangled my hair and left it so soft! I also found that I had less frizz after a couple of uses. Even though it's sheer and light, it lathers very well and you don't need to use a lot. I have been a constant shampoo-hopper for years, but the shampoo-hopping stops here! From now on, Herbal Essences will be my one and only hair care brand! Best curly hair shampoo I have ever used! I wouldn't recommend this if you have dry or unmanageable hair because it might be a bit too harsh for you. I would recommend this for people who have normal to dry curly hair. However, it worked wonders for my hair and I will be buying it again along with the matching conditioner.
This conditioner is the best thing for curly/wavy hair! It does a great job detangling and smoothing hair! Plus, it adds definition and shine. For best results, use this with the shampoo. You will love this product!
Works very well when used with the shampoo & other curling products. I have very unruly, frizzy & curly hair and this does the trick for me. Now I have beautiful curls and I don't have to worry about them getting crazy throughout the day or the humidity ruining them because the mousse & hairspray take care of that for me. Loves it :)
I used this after I used None Of Your Frizzness. It really improves curl definition by a lot, and it adds lots of shine. If you have curly/wavy hair, this is the shampoo for you!
I have always had this in my shower and I decided to one day give it a try. I cleans pretty well, but if you have oily hair I would be a little wary about trying it at first. The smell is also fantastic! I used to think it was a little strong but now it is perfect. It made my hair smell great and shine when I was on stage the next day. My friends commented on how soft and lovely it made my hair look and feel. It really defined my waves. I love this stuff. The only improvement I would make would be to clean a little better, but I have oily hair, so unless your hair is like mine, you will be fine. Thank you herbal essences for a wonderful product! I will continue to use it!
Tried other more expensive hair care products and they made my hair feel like straw, Herbal Essences made my hair feel wonderful. Not feel like straw or anything it feels clean and refreshed. Worth the money i paid for.
Overall, this is a good shampoo and conditioner, and the fragrance is really nice, too. Although it didn't help with making my hair more shiny, and it didn't reduce the frizz, it made my hair pretty soft, smooth and manageable. However, this is a curl-BOOSTING line of products, and my hair is curly already, and I prefer soft, looser curls and waves-so I'd recommend Totally Twisted to girls with wavy hair more. When I'm finished with my two almost used up bottles of shampoo and conditioner from Totally Twisted, I'm going to try a different line from Herbal Essences.
I absolutely adore the scent of Totally Twisted shampoo! I'm not normally a "floral" girl, but this particular shampoo is stunning, leaving my hair redolent with the sweet, feminine aroma of french lavender. Unlike many floral blends, this scent is soft and romantic without becoming stagnant or overpowering. The shampoo did make my hair feel a bit coarse and tangled just after rinsing it, so I wouldn't recommend it for people who have really dry or damaged hair because it might be a bit too rough for them, however it worked wonders on my wavy, frizzy hair. If you have curly/wavy hair that isn't in terrible shape, this ought to work for you well. I was surprised with how well it helped to smooth and define my waves without weighing them down. Like any curl shampoo, it wont magically give you curls if your hair doesn't tend to curl naturally, however it certainly does enhance what you already have. I recommend you use it with the Totally Twisted conditioner for best results.
