Cold & Flu, Multi-Symptom Relief 6 fl oz (177 ml) Acetaminophen - Aches, fever; Dextromethorphan - Cough; Phenylephrine - Nasal congestion. Non-drowsy. Alcohol free/Antihistamine free/Sugar free. Each tablespoon contains sodium 50 mg. Temporarily relieves common cold/flu symptoms: nasal congestion; cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation; sore throat; headache; minor aches and pains; fever. Take only as recommended - see Overdose warning. Use dose cup or tablespoon (Tbsp). Do not exceed 5 doses (children) or 6 doses (adults) per 24 hours. Adults and Children 12 Years and Over: 2 Tbsp (30 ml) every 4 hours. Children 6 to Under 12 Years: 1 Tbsp (15 ml) every 4 hours. Children Under 6 Years: Ask a doctor. Store at room temperature. When using other DayQuil or NyQuil products, carefully read each label to insure correct dosing. Failure to follow these warnings could result in serious consequences. Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. Sore Throat Warning: If sore throat is severe, persists for more than two days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly. Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease; thyroid disease; diabetes; high blood pressure; trouble urinating due to enlarged prostate gland; cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus); persistent or chronic cough as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema; a sodium-restricted diet. When using this product, do not use more than directed, Stop use and ask a doctor if you get nervous, dizzy or sleepless; symptoms get worse or last more than 5 days (children) or 7 days (adults); fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days; redness or swelling is present; new symptoms occurs; cough comes back, occurs with rash or headache that lasts. These could ne signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children.
