I bought this after my Palm m505 was stolen. That product is not available anymore. The Z22 is compact and does most everything that the 505 did, except there is no memory expansion card slot. It costs a hundred bucks, which is a lot less than the others out there. For my purposes this purchase was very worthwhile.
I use it everyday. It is very helpful to me since I am a college student. I write down all the homework and studying I have to do that day in the task part of the organizer. It reminds me when I have tests or papers due. It is very helpful! I also like how colorful it is. I love to organize things according to the holidays. So I change the background according to the next holiday. :o) I love it!
I love this organizer. It has everything I need to stay organized. I also recommend using the included software (which also includes the ability to sychronize with Microsoft Outlook). This organizer is reliable, efficient, and easy to use. The manufacturer's customer service people are wonderful.
I really enjoy my palm Z22. It comes with good software but if you want to make it better you have to purchase better software from the palm web site.It will make it more personal & enjoyable. Over all I am very satisfied.
I bought this one after dropping my previous haldhald, a Zire 31, which still worked but wouldn't close all the way. The 22 was easy to set up and transfer all my previous data to it. You are able to delete any programs you don't care for and make it yours. The available software is fantastic, I have SplashMoney which keeps track of all my banking accounts. The only complaint I have is that the alarm, even on high, is not very loud at all. Overall, a great PDA!
My husband purchased a similar product for me several years ago and it became invaluable for organizing my busy lifestyle. However, when it broke down, I did some research and found this product. The Palm Z22 Handheld is so wonderful and user friendly. I LOVE IT! Not only does it tell me what my appointments are for a specific day, but also shows future appointments as well on the same screen. I'm not too savvy with new technology, but I was able to set it us myself without my husband's assistance. The price is well worth it too. I would highly recommend this product for anyone needing organization in their life!
I LOVE THIS HANDHELD ORGANIZER I USED TO WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN AND HAVE A MILLION POST IT PAPERS EVERYWHERE BUT NOT ANYMORE NOW EVERYTHING IS TUCKED AWAY IN THIS LITTLE DEVICE AND IT IS WONDERFUL EVERYBODY THINKS IM A LITTLE EXEXCUTIVE WHEN I PULL IT OUT TO JOT DOWN SOMETHING WITH MY LITTLE PEN AND ALL THE KIDS THINK ITS AN IPOD HOW CUTE!!!!! OVERALL I CAN"T LIVE WITHOUT IT BUT I WISH THE VOLUME (ALARM) WAS A LITTLE BIT LOUDER SOMETIMES I MISS MY APPOINTMENTS CAUSE I CAN BARELY HEAR IT RINGING AND I ALSO HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE POWER NOT COMING ON BUT I LEARNED FROM SOMEONE ELSE REVIEW THAT THERE IS A RESET BUTTOM IN THE BACK THAT TURNS IT BACK ON
This is a handy, compact entry level PDA. Once it is set up, operation is easy and intuitive. The only drawback is weak documentation, particularly regarding set up and synchronization. It is definitely worth the price. Used "site to store" shipping. Worked smoothly.
A friend recomended I get one of these. She can't live without it. I am now starting my own business and feel I really needed one. I Just got it the other day. Had to get help from her to get started. Was very frustrated with it until I found out how it worked. Now I love it! Very easy to use AFTER you learn how it works. I would recomend it.
I tried the organizers from Franklin and Royal, but if you want a reliable organizer, it's best to just bite the bullet and invest into a Palm. The Z22 is the least expensive Palm since the Zire, but it goes beyond what most people need in a PDA. This particular model doesn't have internet capabilities and sound is limited to mono-phonic beeps, but you can store full color images (great for new parents) and there is a whole slew of software available on Palm's website. The included PC software is very helpful and intuitively designed. I would recommend entering most of your schedule and addresses using the PC software as opposed to entering it directly into the Z22. The software is easier to use (mainly due to having a larger screen and an actual keyboard) and some options cannot be changed using the Z22 hardware.
