Microwaving has evolved! When it comes to everything you expect in a microwave, nothing compares with the defrosting, cooking, and reheating capability of the new Cyclonic Wave. At every temperature level, Cyclonic Wave circulates heat in precision, ultra-efficient 3D waves for easier, more versatile food preparation, even with denser, more complex food textures. This exceptional microwave also includes patented Inverter Technology. Unlike traditional microwaves that rely on pulse-on, pulse-off power at lower temperatures, Inverter Technology delivers a constant stream of cooking power at every temperature. The result? More evenly cooked meals — edges to centers — every time. Put together, Cyclonic Wave with Inverter Technology provides the fastest, most efficient way to enjoy perfectly prepared snacks, sides, and meals across a broader range of cooking techniques, while also maintaining more of the natural nutrients and flavor you want. It's the ultimate combination by Panasonic!

I had an earlier version of this same model that finally died, easily the best functioning microwave I ever had. This replacement seems just as good so far.
Positive - Many wonderful features. Negative - Hope this one lasts several years longer than old identical model unit. Old unit stopped working due to failure(s) of electronics in main circuit boards and/or micro wave tube.
It is a nice size and looks nice but it dosnt seem like 1200 watts. My previous was 1000 and this one does not cook any faster.
This oven replaces an old Panasonic model of the same size. So far it performs perfectly, as expected. The downgrade star is due to the control panel. Somehow I missed the part about the touchscreen relying on symbols and a swipe section rather than numbers. Instead of simply entering a cook time, you must swioe, or hit a predetermined food symbol, or touch a 30 symbol, etc. Start and Stop have also been replaced by non-intuitive symbols. Operating this oven is an exercise in hieroglyphics. Once you know the code you're all right, but really . . .
I don't like that you have to push the open door button as the only way to open; on my prior Panasonic model you could just pull the door to open. This spring/mechanical button will surely fail at some point. Also, I've only used this machine 4 times and already frustrated by how inconsistent the touch buttons are (on the numbers etc.). I often have to push several times, hard to find the 'sweet spot,' etc. I missed my old model that is no longer made. It looked better and did not have these issues. RIP my faithful friend, beloved model NNS5488A, till you finally could go no further 💗 You will be missed for your beauty and dependability and YEARS of problem-free service! I can only hope your successor performs at least half as well.....
Problem 1: The manual instructions are hard to follow. They made assumptions that user is familiar with their terminology. Problem 2. The work keys on the front of the device have no labels. No numbers. Only tiny icons. I want one minute to say that. Easy to confuse. Last: The touch screen is so sensitive, that an in-delicate touch will give unwanted results. Besides that, it's a pretty ordinary machine. Not worth the extra $$$$.
I miss the numbers to enter desired time. I see the up and down arrows breaking from use. Shipping was horrible. The box was torn up. I got a delivery notice by end of the day Sat, Sun, Monday and Tues. So I sat home every day. The package sat around the clock in PA and then went to Chesapeake, Va for 36 hrs. I received it Tuesday night at 7:15 p.m. I'm sure nobody from FedEx would want to sit home every day. One has to when boxes are stolen off your front steps. Not nice. Misinformation is worse than no information. That was so wrong and they get by with it. As the customer, your own problem.......
So I got this microwave because it's the number 1 rated countertop micro on Consumer Reports. And yea, I guess it's very good at heating and has lots of options. But what micro isn't or doesn't nowadays? I can't measure consistency of wattage so I'll take Consumer Report's word. But that said, the user interface on this micro is ridiculous. You can see there are no numbers. So your options are hitting the 30 second button, incrementing one second at a time with the timer bar, or trying to use the "swipe," feature to get what you want. The second option is time consuming, and the last is finicky. Swiping causes the timer to jump an unpredictable number of seconds forward. It is very frustrating to use. Now I get if they were trying to be futuristic or ultra-lux, like BMW interfaces. I'd give them points if they came up with a sleek, modern user interface that looked cool. At least it would partially make up for being unfriendly and unintuitive. But no, this micro looks exactly like one from the 90's. They didn't push the design forward at all and just managed to eff up the usability instead. Imo, get a cheaper microwave that lets you punch in numbers, old-school style.

This item is not as described. The item you will receive is in the attached pic. Compute4Less Corp will not pay for the return so you will be stuck with it. If you purchase this product expecting it to be as described and when it won't fit in the space it advertises, be prepared to donate it to your local food pantry or list on FB marketplace, or store in your basement until you need another one or you have a friend who needs one. I have no idea what to rate this product because it is still new in an unopened box.
