I was surprised for the price the close shave I get in the shower. Had been using a razor in the shower which was fine, but I like this even better. A little shaving foam helps a bit too. Easy to handle and I get 7 or 8 shaves before I need to recharge. Highly recommend it!
I'm very impressed. This razor gives me a very close, yet comfortable shave. It's better than the Panasonic ES7003 I used(and liked)for years and the Norelco and Braun shavers I have owned. This ES 4026 NC razor was rated highly by CR in their June 08 review of electric razors, despite being the least expensive of those evaluated. It also has the advantage of being waterproof, so you can clean it easily. It's too early for long term evaluation, but I'm really glad I got it and Walmart had the best price using Site to Store.
I previiously only used clippers/edgers to shave with as the electric shavers had irritated my skin in the past. I decided to try this electric shaver and a product called Bump Free II since it worked well when used after shaving with my clippers. I;ve been shaving with this shaver for the past few weeks and I am extremely pleased with the results. A much closer shave so I don't have to shave as often if I don't want to. I now only use my clippers to edge if needed.
...I was looking for a reasonable electric shaver and the replacement for my old one was around $100...I spotted the Panasonic and the price was great...it arrived in three days and after charging according to the manual, I shaved with it and it was a wonderful experience...it can by rinsed and cleaned off under tap water which is great ! ...again, Wal-Mart made it possible and with the $28.52 price and Panasonic with the technology...I couldn`t lose ! Thanks Wal-Mart & Panasonic !
This little shaver is awesome!!! I have very sensitive skin and the shave is very confortable. I think that if you need a small shaver to maintain your face daily( no beard ) this is perfect for the money. Low maintenance and easy clean up.
This is the second one of these shavers I have owned. The first lasted about three years and then quit taking a charge. I paid $50 for that one and it was well worth the price. This new one is identical aside for the color, same great shave with no blades to buy and using it wet with a very thin layer of shaving cream, it's the closest shave you'll ever have. You have to get used to it and your skin will need to become conditioned to a new shaving method but it a week or two you will wonder how you lived without it. This is the best shaver I have ever owned and will purchase a few more in the recent future to ensure I have one far into the future. It seems like every time I get a great product and want to replace it after years of service, they stopped making them. So that's the reason I want a few more, at $ 30 and free shipping to the store this is a real bargin on a quality product. Thanks Wal-Mart and Panasonic.
I have very hard/thick hairs and I use an elector (Norelco) razor first and then use Gillette fusion razor (with blades). I has hoping that maybe this electric razor will give me a smooth enough shave so that I that wouldn't have to use razor/w blades. It is same as the Norelco. It is not the razor's fault. Summary: I have used it for about three weeks now. It is very good, but not good enough for me to throw away my razor (with blades). It is a good value for the money for the money and I would recommend it.
This is a quality product that I would expect to be priced much higher after I have used it for a week now. Really quiet, easy to clean. It does take your beard sometime to get used to it. Plenty good enough shave for daily use. Would probably still use a blade for "special occasions." Would recommend the wet shave with thin layer of foam.
Does as it says. The ability to use it wet/dry is a very nice addition. Cleaning is as simple as using some liquid soap and turning the razor on. Rinse off with water. The wall socket charger is very convenient, less wires for more safety in the bathroom. Gives a nice close shave, for the money.....
After using this product for over a month I still could not get a clean shave. There were hairs on my face that it simply wouldn't cut. I tried everything I could think of with no success. I will be going back to a rotary head.
