I have had a similar product from Panasonic before for many years. It had lasted a very long time so I feel this will also be in use for a very long time as well. I compared the prices to other products and brands and this gave me all of the features I wanted and then some for less money than similar products by other brands
You have to go through the menu to get to the hold button which for work when you're in a hurry it is very frusterating. I would rather have the old version of the phone with a actual hold button. It's still a nice phone and works very well. Better thank any other I have used even with a hold button.
We are happy with this system except that the corded phone most (95%) of the time does not work. I can hear the other person but they can not hear me.
Replaced old 2-line KX-TG2740S after 13 years of faithful service. New model is sophisticated, but lacks seemingly common sense features: * Can't use headset on base unit without cancelling corded handset * Old model had multiple ring tones (6) totally lacking in new model. Of the two available tones both sound alike. * Remote handsets have no ringtone selection * New handsets are smaller/lighter and easily dropped until you get used to them * No way to import directory from old set
Windows 10 Support is missing. This is a deal breaker Office 2016 Support is missing Please check before buying
Who designed this phone! Lots of people are scratching their heads about why they didn't put a hold button on the cordless handset, but I am wondering why in the world would they design such a great phone and then put a 1/2 duplex speakerphone in it...?? Don't buy this phone if you like to use the speakerphone (as I do). It will not work for you unless you are used to talking to people on a walkie-talkie.
it did not work- it needs to be returned and replaced
the phone doesnt work with my system and cant get any help to return
Noisy, hangs up on people on hold. Not easy to put people on hold.
the instructions are very hard to read & understand-to try to figure things out without having some one there whom can help is frustrating at best-to get help is also hard to do, as trying to find a number where you can talk to a person is not easy to find, either
