I used to use the Medela bags because they had the little slot and fit perfectly with my Medela breast pump accessories. However, the bags kept breaking and my hard-earned milk would spoil or fall on the ground. For my second child, I decided to try Parent's Choice bags and they are amazing. I've been using them for 5 months and haven't had one leak/break. The plastic is super, super thick -way thicker than Medela. So thick, that I just cut slits in the top so that I can use them with my Medela pump accessories. The plastic is so thick that it doesn't even tear even if I have 6oz of milk hanging there. Plus, these bags hold 6oz comfortably but I'm sure you could easily get 7oz in there. There's plenty of room up top to write the milk info on. These bags are cheaper than the leading brands and I have no idea why. The quality is far superior. I can't say enough good things about these bags. I wish I found them sooner!
I have just discovered these bags. I went to the store for my normal bags and they were out so I resorted to these! Let's just say I ditched the old bags and now get these! They are thicker than more and I can thaw milk without leaks! Plus I can get 50 of these for $7.98 the lansinoh bags are 25 for 8.98 at my Walmart. Idk about you but I'd rather get 50 for 7.98 :D they are wonderful!
I love these breast milk storage bags! They are very comparable to Lansinoh brand. The are made of thicker plastic and work very well! I defrosted a bag in the fridge and no leaks is what won me over. No more loosing my precious breast milk. There's a tab to write name , date and volume which I like. I have tried all the bags and these are the best on the market in my opinion. I wish someone would of told me about these 2 years ago when I had my first son. Would of saved me alot of money and alot of spilled milk.
Purchased/ tried these storage bags due to desirable price. I have used Lansinoh, Nuk, Medela, Tommee Tippee bags in the past, and prefer Parent's Choice by far. They are heavy duty, seal well, and sit up right really nice for easy filling and pouring. I have not had a leaky bag yet. Will buy again, and again.
I purchased these breast milk bags since I exclusively pump and am building my freezer stash. They are comparable to target's up&up storage bags. They are thick and double lock zippered. There is a place you can write the date, time, amount, and name(if you bring bags to day care for caregiver to use). They are pretty sturdy however I gave 4 stars only because as I was getting all the air out of one bag, milk started to leak out from the bottom(must have compressed too much/hard and obviously it did not withstand it but for the most part the rest of bags are holding up really well. Will definitely be repurchasing them when I go through this box. Since I pump into bottles and then transfer to bags, I don't really use the measurements on storage bags but they are approximately the correct amount.
Why why why would you fix something that is not broken!!! The older styles were way more better!!! They eliminated the amount and time on the label so you only have name and date!! Whoâs idea was that??? The material overall is ok, havenât thawed one out yet but had no issues with the older style. Please put the time and amount features back on!!!
The bags have leaks when you warm the milk. I had to throw away many packets. Does the bag crack open when frozen? Very disappointed.
These bags have very unnecessary feature for pouring—there's a little rectangle that you poke out to make pouring easier. Well it's really small and clear so if it falls on the floor it's hard to see unless the light hits it right OR you have a crawling baby who finds everything and puts things in his mouth! We noticed one day that our 9 month old had obviously swallowed something. We weren't sure what so we spent all day at the drs office and hospital, only for him to come home that night and throw up. In the mess I found one of these little rectangles. These bags don't even need this. Please get rid of it!!!!!
I wish I could give negative stars. I thought i was buying an equivalent product to other brands for less $. I realized these are horrible when I started having to thaw my milk out and almost Every single bag has leaked. I am very upset over this. Breastmilk is liquid gold and so much of mine has been wasted because of these cheapo bags. I will never ever purchase again!
If you're pumping and don't have a child sure they are great. But there are these little piece of clear plastic things that come off the bag and are pretty much invisible as soon as they leave the product. My child almost died because of this! I sweep and mop daily I have a clean home yet, there he was choking on this stupid piece of plastic. I've since found another one in his hand. Thankfully we saw it before it went in his mouth. There needs to be a better design in which little pieces of plastic are not falling around my home, specifically when this is a product for families.
