the product was of very good quality and i recommend it to anyone. we bought it for an extra activity for the kids to play with at a Christmas party. They loved it, as did the adults that relived their childhoods. I got what i paid for and then some. also glad i read the reiews for the lesser sets i did not buy. i would have been dissappointed in them.
For once you get good value for your money. This net is a little pricier..but I have had the cheaper sets..and they just don't cut it. Spend the money for this set and you won't be disappointed. Rackets and birdies are good quality too! The net could not be any easier to put up. Trust me!
I liked getting this product and it was pretty much what I expected. The instructions were not very helpful though when it came time to erect the poles for the net. Here was my solution for an easy and permanent fix fr my backyard. I used galvanized metal plumbing conduit (1 inch diameter) and matching floor flanges to bury the foundation (which consisted of a floor flange and 6 inch tall conduit and another floor flange at the other end of the 6 inch pipe). They were buried iflush with the ground with quikcrete. I then screwed in an 18 inch conduit pipe on the up side of the floor flange so it sticks out of the ground and I can slide in the poles for the net (they are hollow). Now I can remove the poles and net and stow them away when I am not playing in the backyard. I can easily unscrew the 18 inch pipes and store those too. The permanent flanges are flush with the ground so they don't hurt the lawn mower. This solution worked great for me though the two 6 inch pipes, two 18 pipes and the 4 floor flanges (all galvanized for all-weather use) cost about $52 extra at Home Depot. But I thought it was well worth it and now I can play Badminton easily anytime in my backyard!
Just recieved are set and it was missing the holes and the pins for the rope!! Luckily my hubby was able to drill some holes on each side...get the right pins or whatever you call them and tie down the rope to hold the net taught....I recommend buying stronger rackets and more birdies!
