The product is excellent; however, the packaging of the product to transport it from the Distribution Center to the store was extremely poor. The corners of both the book and the box the book came in were crushed. The item should have been packaged in bubble wrap and placed in a box, rather than a mailing envelope, to ensure that it arrived in perfect condition. Since I needed the item as part of a gift, I had no choice but to accept it in the poor condition. If I had the time, it would have gone back.
Although I have not received this yet, I can say this book is a w onderful book for babies as they develop their senses. There are pages devoted to touch and feel, for sight , like shiny things. Vocabulary can be developed to express what they see and feel. An excellent gift for new mothers. This could be used from early babyhood on. I ordered 2 of these for 2 new mothers, as I have done for m,any years before now.
This was my children's favorite book 20 years ago, and I bought it for a dear friend for her child. Babies like to touch the pages, which are fuzzy, scratchy, shiny, all different textures. Enjoy!
I grew up with this book and remember reading it as a child. I have also read it to all 4 of my kids when they were babies and they have all just LOVED it. My 3rd kid trashed the book so had to buy a replacement for my 10 month old. It has quickly become one of his favorites. All babies seem to love the ring that they can stick their finger into. I wish they made a more indestructible board-book version because it really doesn't hold up to much, but I still think it is worth buying.
I purchased this book for a baby shower instead of getting a baby shower card. Walmart has the best prices around on children books. I have the items shipped to the store, which I do not live too far from.
Bought this for my 8 month old grandson. He is still too young. This book is more for toddlers starting to walk and communicate a little. Great little book.
THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS WHEN I WAS LITTLE AND I WANTED MY SON TO ENJOY THIS BOOK ALSO! HE IS 13 MO AND HE LOVES IT!! HE WANTS TO READ IT ALL THE TIME! HIS FAVORITE PART IS PUTTING HIS FINGER IN MOMMY'S RING. WHEN WE ARE FINISHED READING HE SAYS, "AGAIN" AND NODS HIS HEAD. THIS IS A WONDERFUL BOOK!!!!
Super cute. Exactly the same as I had as a child.
This book was recommended to me by a school teacher who has a two year old and one on the way. She said this is the book to have so I bought it and I put it in my new one month old grandson's stocking for Christmas. Time will tell if she is right. His mother reads to him often as this is supposed to make him a lifelong reader.
