Before I bought the bedspread I read all the reviews. Some were not postitive but I bought anyway. I am very pleased with the spread. It is everything I wanted. The color was a little off but it still worked well with my room. Also cat hairs don't show up!!
Hard to find matching anything for twin beds. These spreads will take a lot of abuse and because of the cost I don't mind replacing them if they get tacky. Nice to know we can find spreads again. Comforters are expensive to replace as often as I need them. I manage a Ronald McDonald house.
I purchased the blue, white and ivory spreads with coordinating shams. I am very impressed with the design and thickness of the fabric, the color, the workmanship and especially the value for the price. One thing that surprised me when I placed the spread on the bed was that the corners located at the foot of the bed are rounded and flared . They drape over each corner and cascade slightly on the floor. I thought that was a very different feature and I actually like it - it may not be "the look" that everyone wants though. I'm very happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend this bedspread and sham. It's lovely!
I purchased this bedspread and the matching shams for our master bedroom. Although the blue is not as soft as it is shown on my computer, it is an elegant blue with a silver/grey hue to it. We are very please with this product and could not wait to paint the room to put it on our bed. I popped it on immediately and it really lifted the color in the room.
This si the perfect summer cover up, light weight and looks great @!
Love the bedspread...We have cats so I was not looking for a chennile that the cats would tear up...also wanting to go back to a spread that goes to the floor and not just over the top of the bed... It meets both ..My husband thinks it is warmer than our blankets we used during the winter...It is light weight enough to keep over if the ac gets a little too chilly at 3 in the morning, but not to heavy you can't move... I will recommend this to bioth my daughters and their families.
Good value for the money!! I have studied the bedspread's color; it appears to change in different lighting. Mostly, it is pretty light blue--but just darker than shown. As the room light fades, the spread appears to have a bit of green mixed in. Not enough green to hint a light shade of acqua or teal though. So, I suggest you draw your own conclusions. If not what you want, bring it back! Definitely is not slate blue as someone else said--slate blue is gray mixed with medium blue--which is much darker--no green thrown in. I ordered a king size--top of our bed is about 24 inches off the floor, so the spread size is just right as to where it hangs. The fabric has an imprinted design, and overall seems to be made quite well--A good spring/summer weight. I use colorful, quilted throw pillows to make a nice contrast and punch up the overall look, but elegant off white or ivory would look nice also.
This is really a very nice bedspread and very pretty once it is on the bed. It is a strange shade of blue, I would call it more seafoam, or a very light teal perhaps? It is blue against a green background and green against a blue background. If your walls and windows are fairly neutral this would go even better. Based on previous reviews it is exactly what I expected and am happy with this purchase.
Supposed to be blue, but was more of a light blue green. Returned to nearest Walmart for refund.
Do realize that this product is not this pretty baby blue you see featured in the ad. It is nice, good quality for the money, does not come with shams pictured in the ad, very large, nice stitiching. The only drawback is the spread is much more blue green than pictured. However, for me it worked, because I bought the blue, baby blue, tan and white striped curtains, and the blues are identical. It went in a guy's room, so it was even better!
