At first I thought I might be purchasing too large of a size of pan. This is the perfect size. It is a great addition the set. This has silicone handles which is really helpful. I have severe arthritis and believe it or not this is really helpful for me. I am very pleased with the product.

This saute is perfect for any cook! Not only is it appealing to the eye, it is, by far, the best saute I have ever owned. It's wonderful for frying foods, preparing pasta dishes, or making a stir fry.
this was a gift for my mother in law for Mother's day. It was so awesome that i was able to order this online and have her go pick it up in her store in Indiana, all before Mother's Day. I will definitely use Site to store again. She loves her Paula Deen Skillet.
I got Paul's cookware for mother's day. This pan didn't come with it. So when I got the money to get it, I got it!!! I love this cookware. The food doesn't stick and the appearance is lovely as well. If you can get Paul's cookware it is well worth the money for it!!!
I love this saute pan. It is large enough to use as a skillet or for many, many other uses. Tonight, I cooked Greek Shrimp in it. I purchased the entire cookware set because of its looks. Did not need a new set; the one I had was just fine. But I love the looks of these. After bringing them home, I found them to be great to use as well. I purchased this large saute' pan and the large soup pot separately. Have used the saute' pan more than I thought I would. They look great and cook great!
We first purchased the red 5.0 qt saute pan with lid about 3 to 4 years ago. With deep vertical sides it's great for skillet type meals preventing food from falling out of the pan while stirring. Handles are attached by heavy aluminum rivets. Over the 2 to 3 years we had it my daughter and I, about 5 to 7 times combined turned the burner on high to preheat the pan and walked away, returning to find the pan smoking. The nonstick surface has never lifted off and food cooked in it has never tasted burned with the nonstick surface working after 3 years just as it did new out of the box. I have also left food on the burner burning it to the bottom and the nonstick surface is definitely nonstick. With constant washing in the dishwasher it looks great and the exterior is only slightly faded. Somewhere around the 2 year mark the handle started to loosen, but not badly. My daughter now has that pan. About one year ago we purchased the blue 12 piece set and a blue 5.0 qt saute pan with lid. This new set has performed with the same results as described above. The entire set starts with a heavier than normal aluminum pan covered with a nonstick surface on the inside and a porcelain exterior. My youngest daughter just moved out and I will be purchasing her one of the 15 pc sets that includes the 5.0 qt saute pan with lid. This would make a great wedding gift, house warming gift, or gift of any kind for the person in need of pots and pans. The only reason I gave this a 4 in the value section is the price of this pan is cheaper if you purchase it in the 15pc set which includes this pan. Thank you Paula Deen for a superior product.
I have several pieces of the Paula Deen cookware and am very pleased with the performance and appearance of the various pieces. Just wish I could put them in the dishwasher. I might could, but I hand wash them so as to preserve the non-stick surface. This piece is a little pricey I thought, but it's nice to have a large piece for those big meals when you are cooking for a crowd!
This cookware is gorgeous, but I got it home, removed the cardboard packaging and noticed a disclaimer taped to the back of it--where it would be easy to overlook. It said that at high heat, the pan could weld itself to your glass cooktop, and the company wasn't responsible for ruining your stove. I had planned to actually cook with it, not just look at it--so I returned it to Walmart, unused, for a refund.
