I love this product, I especially like the perforations that make it easy to tear off a sheet. I used it for packing up my framed photos, as I have downsized and am putting lots of them into storage. This is soft and yet strong and can be used many times over. It comes in a good size roll and was enough for my project. My frames are well protected and I don't have to worry about scratches I'll definitely recommend this
This foam cushion is very useful if you are moving and want to protect your dinnerware or other breakables. I have used this in the past when we moved from another state and my breakables were well protected and nothing damaged. The foam squares are very easy to tear from the roll and the roll is a sufficient length. Also, the foam squares are strong and do a super job. As you can see, I placed some squares in-between my cast iron frying pans which is highly recommended for this type of cookware (picture attached). I definitely recommend this cushion roll and am pleased with its performance.
If you own alot of dishes, glassware anything breakable and want to protect them from being chipped or damaged while moving or storing, these Pen and Gear white dish foam squares is the protection you need. This white foam cushioning come's in a 20 foot roll and is perforated every 12 inches so you can easily tear it for the size you need. It's soft foam cushioning is nonabrasive and will keep all your packed and wrapped items safe from being broken or chipped. I'm already using these foam squares in my cabinet for my dishes and will come in handy for my pots and pans from being scratched also. If you have high end pots and pans cookware, this will help protect the surface of your pans from being scratched. These foam squares have many uses and will come in handy for all your fragile items.
I was a bit surprised when I first opened this Pen + Gear foam packing cushion. It is a lot thicker than I had expected. It comes in a roll that is twenty feet long and perforated. Each perforation comes in a 12 by 12 square which will fit most dinner sized plates. Having it already perforated comes in very handy for the most part. This way you don't have to cut it for each plate. When I was packing saucers and plates, I was able to use a single square on the smaller saucers and just fold it over on all 4 corners and then place another plate or saucer on top of that. When I was packing up some coffee mugs, the squares worked out well also. I could either stuff the mug with a square or if I had something that would fit inside the mug, I could place the mug on the square and fold the corners into the mug and then place whatever else inside the mug to hold the cushion in place. I found that this foam cushioning works well while wrapping up knick knacks as well. I did have to use some tape to hold it in place since it's so thick. It works great for people who are packing to move or for just packing and storing things away. It feels strong enough to absorb some shock yet gentle enough not to scratch fragile items.
This cushion is ideal for so many uses. It is sized perfectly in 12" X 12" squares which are the ideal size for your standard dinner plate. But it doesn't stop there you can also use it for bowls, saucers, mugs, glasses, and bakeware. It makes great protection in between pictures when storing them as well. I use it my cabinets between my pans and bakeware to prevent scratches and nicks. I have also used it on my glass tables to prevent scratches from my candy dishes. Cut a piece sized to the bottom of the dish and it is barely noticeable and your table is protected and the dish doesn't slide or scratch. This cushion is durable enough that it can be reused as well as long as no tape was used to secure it. I have also used this in my shipping boxes to ship items that I thought needed a little extra protection. There are just so many uses for this product that this is something I think I will be keeping on hand at all times. This comes in a nice sized roll at 20 feet so there is plenty on a roll to accommodate the many uses. This cushion is also thick enough that I feel my items are safe whenever I have used it.
This product is nice as you get to cut the size you need, we used for separating frying pans at condo in Florida. They were the perfect width and we cut them about 15 inches long to create a nice cushion between each frying pan, this way they cannot scratch coating off pans. I think we will buy more to fit other items that need to be separated. This would be good for anybody selling items on auction sites or getting ready to move too.
I love the perforation, so if using on plates is the perfect size. When using on small stuff it cuts easily. I use it it my RV to keep things from breaking and rattling as we go down the road. You can put it between pots and pans to protect the non scratch surface when then are stacked together. It can be used for anything that needs protecting. You can use as much or as little as you need t o get the job done.
This is something I am sure not any type of expert on. But the death of my mother-in-law recently brought it to my attention. As usual my wife got stuck having to go through her mother‘s belongings of 86 years which was quite a chore. She had accumulated quite a few sets of dishes and when it came to packing them away this product was just what the doctor ordered. Quick and easy to use and offers better than adequate protection. Would like to see perhaps quantity doubled but I guess different people need different quantities.
This foam packing material comes in a compact roll and is lightweight and perforated, so it was easy to store what I haven't used yet. I like the size of the squares. They are nice and large, just the perfect size for using between dinner plates. They can easily be cut down to fit fragile items of smaller sizes too. It's super easy to use. I just tore off the number of sheets I needed to use. I saved the rest for some other things I need to store safely later. I wish it was slightly less thick and bulky. I store my china in cloth zip up storers and having a square between each plate made it almost too tall to zip the storer up. I had to struggle a little bit to get it all in and closed up. I have to say, though, this foam is so much better than the paper towels I had been using between each plate! I feel much more confident now that my grandma's beautiful china will be safe. Having said that, the thickness of these foam sheets would be fantastic for moving though. I've had things break during moving before, but I don't think they would have been damaged if I had used this type of packing foam.
These are great. The perforations are easy to pull apart and the pads are thick and cushy. My only 2 complaints is that when I took the wrapper (sticker) off to use them the glue stuck to the first and second sheet. It ended up ripping off some of the sheet. Also the last sheet is about 1 1/2" smaller then the other sheets. That is the only 2 reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
